The rhetoric of this rebellion was the result of a division created in the D’Haran nobility. For several reasons unmentioned here, it was decided by the Dragon Queen Katayanna to abdicate from the throne and lead a colony effort to the mainland past Paisly. At the same time a growing lack of confidence in the sanity of the Dragon Queen, and severe mistrust in her behaviour, led to opposition among the nobles who would remain in D’Hara. After a breakdown in meaningful communication, General Cenarious maneuvered a group of disillusioned nobles into a rebellion to overthrow the Queen. The rebels stated that because the Queen was stealing gold from the realm to found the colony, enough to destroy parent realm of D'Hara, and because of the Queen's recent behaviour against a Duke of renown, they were no longer able to accept her rule. The colonists were not involved in the rebellion and were supported even after the Dragon Queen was overthrown and banned. King Cenarious took the throne of D’Hara and began ordering realm-wide repairs.

Whilst holding court Kaiser [[De La Fere Family/Cato|Cato De La Fere]], one of the more controversial leaders on the continent, was attacked and killed by an assassin. This was a blow to [[Virovene]]. As it is still one of the developing realms on the continent, it is unsure how the realm will withstand the death of its charismatic leader. Cato was at the head of the Wars of Secession, seceding Virovene from the former Empire of Springdale. The laiser's death was in the wake of much accusations of threats from the kaiser to other realms bordering Virovene. Although there was much speculation, with his demise the Kaiser's plans went with him to the grave. What the future holds for Virovene remains to be seen.

[[Thulsoma]] kingdom formed in [[Storms Keep]]. After braving the monsters a small group of intrepid nobles have completed an impossible journey in the dead of winter with nearly no gold or troops. King Glaumring Apasurain was crowned and each of his men swore their oaths upon the star disc in the courtyard of the fortress. No celebrations or fancy coronation was planned. The King and his men went straight back to work building a brick wall.

Dwilight (a.k.a. West Continent) is the first complete BattleMaster world map created by the player community. It is also the first (and currently only) Serious Medieval Atmosphere game world.

History

Current events
Tensions between Wicrose and Westgard have led to war.

  • Luria Nova has emerged as a victor in the war against D'Hara, nearly pushing it out of its birthplace. For now, the Nebel island is split between the two realms.
  • D'Hara has increased its grip on the eastern coast of the Occidens and even recolonized Golden Farrow. An attempt to find safe farm lands on Toprak proved Luria Nova a greater threat than the monsters in the west.
  • Tol Goldora is expanding into ancient Morek lands.
  • The alliance of Avenor and Westgard have increased their hold on the Upper Occidens.
