Description
Blessed Hat was said to be blessed by an old wise man to grant its bearer extraordinary luck in their endeavours. It is a bit worn about the edges but it magically resists wear despite its older worn appearance. A remarkable feat claimed to be bestowed by the hat is that those who were once unable to whistle suddenly acquire an urge and an ability to do so. Those who already possess the ability seem unaffected.
HistoryBlessed Hat was allegedly first discovered by adventurer Dasha Baranof in Darfix (6/24/12). In winter of YD 24, Fifth Pentannual, Tuga Lux, a crafty adventurer, rediscovered Blessed Hat. It is not known what had happened with the hat in the meanwhile, other then it had been lost. Tuga found it whilst traversing the road from Uppervia to Kybcyell, lying in the dirt. Blessed Hat was in terrible condition, almost completely destroyed, however Tuga located a sage in a day, and paid Ormem the wibbly to restore Blessed Hat to its former galore. The item also seems more powerful then its older descriptions give hint. LossLord Willhelm and his infantry unit the Bear Shirts came under attack by monsters in the region of Inklen during the great zombie apocalypse that beset the island of Dwilight and beyond. Rediscovery
The hat was rediscovered by Vergel Verloren while traveling between Vakreno Heaps and Lowervia, in the time of the great monster invasion of Western Dwilight. The hat was found entirely by chance, clutched in the hands of a recently disemboweled peasant whom Vergel discovered on the side of the road - presumably killed by the monsters.
