The adventurer Nina Tai repaired the Aegis once for the Royal Arbitrator of Pian-en-Luries:
- It was march in the year 2009. After intensive research with the people of Nid Tek, Nina finally heard of an old man that might be camping near the lake, and who was known to have performed mysterious actions... Going there and looking for a few hours, she found this strange figure sleeping among the wild spring flowers that grew in the lake's margin. She sat by his side until he woke up, and needed not to say a word. The man lifted his hood, stared at the Aegis for a long time, and then asked if she had a book with a golden cover and curious symbols on its cover. After Nina handed him this mysterious book, the man walked into his tent, a few yards away, to return hours later, holding a shield in perfect condition. The wench felt tired, but glad, shared her meal with him, offered him some gold he couldn't accept, and so she left.
