Finding

Monsters were roaming freely in the external villages of Giask city. The advy found a large group of them, and fought the alpha monster to death. Looking around the messy cave, scavenging around animal corpses and dirt, she found some 8 silvery coins. Under a monster's body, covered with blood, was the necklace.

3rd of March, 2008
After searching the area for 3 hours, following trails and noises, you finally encounter a large group of monsters. You notice that they have a leader, an alpha monster, a really big and ugly one, whatever you want to call it. The battle rages, you against the monsters. Your blows land true and you strike most of them down, while a few manage to flee. The big one is the last to fall, but after an exhausting fight you manage to take him down, too. In the lair of the big one, you find treasures worth a total of 8 silver. You also find a unique item among the loot, the "Long-lost Necklace of Fire".

Disappearance

On the early June, our adventurer was extremely busy in Lupa Lapu, killing the beasts she could find, together with Geremiah Tator. The hunt had been great for a few days, now, and they had found quite a few interesting items in the monster's lairs, not to mention silver coins. Tai had also learned to skin the creatures, for their leather was extremely good to protect against the cold winter that roamed the land. When the night of the 4th or 5th day fell, she left the small village for a lonely hunt. There, she got heavily wounded, losing the Brilliant Book of Life and the Splendid Ring of Life to the monsters. For a few days she was on the field, delusional, trying to bandage her wounds in the few moments of clarity, eating the few supplies left in her bag.

By a miracle, four days after the battle, she woke up feeling better. The fever had broken, and she could feel her body starting to regain energy. Walking in pain, Tai directed herself to a farm not too far away, hoping to find shelter and food. When she arrived near the farmhouse, the huntress saw the doors and windows locked. Loud cracking sounds came from the barn's direction, and Tai could see a creature on the roof. It was similar to a bear, but the arms were thinner and bald, and it seemed to be randomly adorned with shiny pieces of metal. The huntress wouldn't find any shelter with those beasts around, and the family wouldn't have any food if they ate the whole stock of the farm's supplies. Taking a small piece of linen from her tattered shirt, Tai soaked it with rum from her small emergency flask, and lit it, throwing it on the monsters direction. The one on the roof soon gave out the alarm, and those inside the barn left to investigate. The huntress waited for them to be somewhat far from the building and attacked. The beasts were large, so she found an easy way to attack them from under their arms. After five had fallen, the huntress believed it was over, but the alfa male left the barn. It was a hard fight, and Tai's view would sometimes double or darken, blood flowing from her old wounds and some new ones. In a hard blow, the monster sent her to the ground, and moved to step on her head, which the wench prevented by stabbing his foot. Then, she passed out.

Another week later, Tai woke up in a straw bed. A gentle looking woman by her side smiled, said a few words and offered some soup, that the wench gladly took. The next time she woke up, she could hear what happened, for the family had been peaking through a window. The alfa beast abandoned when he saw her unconscious, ravaged her bag and called for its mates. Three wounded creatures and a sane one showed up. The alfa beast gave one last blow to the barn's walls, howled and left, followed by the other ones. The family took her in and cared for her wounds.

Before she left, three days later, they had made her a new bag and given her provisions. The only things missing, likely taken by the monsters, were the Long-lost Necklace of Fire and the Weird Flute of Lupa Lapu.
