Walking through Bol Morganna discovered a battlefield with bodies of trollkin strewn about the clearing. The slaughter was fairly fresh, the bodies were still smoking where the Huntsmen had burned them to prevent the regeneration trolls are infamous for. Walking carefully through the charnel pit, Morganna spied something that did not look right. There was a bit of bone sticking up from a large corpse of what had to be an alpha. It looked like it was fashioned by hand and not jagged like it was broken and it bore no char marks from fire. using the blade of her sword, she pushed the smouldering hulk until she could get a better look at whatever it held onto in it's last moments of life.

As the body rolled back, a finely carved scepter with handle of bone and heat of gold and silver adorned with tiny jewels of something which could possibly be emeralds. It was badly damaged, most likely by the alpha which had kept it for many years but the fire seemed to not have touched it.

Carefully picking the relic up with a gloved hand, Morganna took it to a nearby stream and began to wash it off, cleaning years of filth and grime from the bone handle and the emerald encrusted head. Feeling a presence behind her, she turned and grabbed her sword from where she laid in alongside her and managed to strike a killing blow to a troll who had been trying to sneak up on her. She had no idea how she made the shot, it was almost as if something had guided her hand in the blow. Curious, she cleaned her blade and sheathed the sword. As she walked, she examined her new relic before stowing it away in her pack. It is best to keep things hidden from bandits.
