The Counting of Days

The reckoning of the passing of time in Dwilight begins from the first day the gods made the sun to rise and set in the sky. In their infinite wisdom the gods declared that time would begin in the summer of Year 1. The calendar of Dwilight is therefore reckoned from this date, and is regulated by the change of the seasons.

To prevent redundancies, events of territory gains or losses will only be recorded if they pose special significances or are on the level of duchies; events of government official replacements will only be recorded on the level of rulers. • 2008-07-31 Caerwyn - Completes successful CTO of Chateau Saffalore. The realm becomes known as Terran, Vesna is its first ruler.
• 2008-08-04 Pian en Luries - Completes successful CTO of Qubel Lighthouse.

Winter

• 2008-08-11 Pian En Luries Colony - Qubel Lighthouse revolts against the new colony, resulting in the destruction of the colony.
• 2008-08-27 Madina - Rebellion in Madina. The rebellion fails.
• 2008-08-30 Ordo Concilium - The religion Ordo Concilium was founded in the region of Raviel.

Spring

(August 31, 2008 to September 20, 2008)

• 2008-09-01 Springdale - City of Aegir revolts and declares independence.
• 2008-09-01 Pian en Luries - Poryatown revolts and declares independence.
• 2008-09-05 Shadovar - Rebellion begins in Shadovar. The rebellion is successful, and Shadovar is reformed as a monarchy.
• 2008-09-07 Madina - Tacin is elected Grand Doge.
• 2008-09-08 Springdale - City of Aegir recaptured.
• 2008-09-12 Viridian - The capital city of Chrysantalys revolts and declares independence. Viridian is destroyed.
• 2008-09-16 Shadovar - Duchess Katayanna secedes the city of Port Raviel to form the realm of D'Hara.

• 2008-10-15 Shadovar - The last region of Shadovar, Nebel, switches allegiance to D'Hara. Shadovar is lost.
• 2008-10-15 Pian en Luries - The new religion of the Order of St. Iestyn is founded by Sir Drystan Bellator.
• 2008-10-15 Ordo Concilium - Religion destroyed when their last temple was demolished.
• 2008-10-17 D'Hara - The new religion of The Way of the Dragons is founded.

• 2009-02-21 Raivan Empire - Completes successful CTO of Nifelheim and forms a colony to be known as Summerdale, Charlotte is its first ruler.
