Darka is the most comprehensive professional military, law enforcement, security, peacekeeping, and stability operations company in Atamara.

We have established a continental presence and provide training and operational solutions for realms in support of security and peace, and cookies everywhere.

We customize and execute solutions for our clients to help keep them at the level of readiness required to meet today's military, friendly government establishment (aka, takeover), and logistics (aka, looting) challenges. Looting

• illegal unless directly ordered to do so by the High Marshal.

Dueling

• legal but:
  • dueling in the front lines is forbidden. Duels are an act of honor and no one can deny you one; but battles are as well a matter of honor for Darka! We cannot cast a shadow over our reputation by risking trauma from duels. Duels causes injuries, and while you're in the healers tent, we lose your unit's strength for the army.
  • dueling until a noble surrenders is illegal outside Darkan lands. Offenders shall be imprisoned.
  • dueling until death, if your heart cannot prevent you from accepting or issuing one then neither can the law.

Fines and Penalties

1. Constant failure in following orders will be penalized. Initially, you will be warned. Repeat offenses may cause you to be banished. (This is a mercenary realm; our gold, job and fame to clients depends on our army, and that requires all nobles to follow the orders you receive from your superordinates.)
2. Read the bulletins. It will help you learn the needs of the realm and your responsibilities. Any action against what is included in the bulletins will be punished. Ignorance is not an excuse.
3. Disrespect to your superordinates (High Council), disrespect and insulting fellow comrades, and high treason to your chosen realm, Darka, will result in you being thrown into the bottom of our Holy Volcano.

History of Darka

Here are few of the tomes of knowledge residing in Saler's The Royal Library kept as public record. Undoubtedly, as more chroniclers and historians emerge, so will more texts.

The Darkan War

The rebellion of North Darka (November 2002 - February 2003) against the Kingdom of Darka, eventually the realms were reunited back into a federated Darkan government which rules until this day. Author: Koradji of Omsk (contributions from, Valglin and Adam).

Darka's royal line of Kings

Our lineage of Kings is relatively new few since the establishment of the continent of Atamara. Here is a list of those who have had the honor of serving in one of the highest regards.

• WhiteKnight Orden the first king of Darka.
  • During his reign as South Darka's ruler, North Darka was conquered thus uniting our realm under one banner. Thus beginning the golden age of Darka.
• Mr_Jones Perkele
  • During his leadership Falasan and Hasland was defeated. Hasland was eventually destroyed. Falasan surrendered was forced to pay indemnities or face annihilation.
  • A unified alliance was formed with the Barony of Makar/Talerium/Eston/Darka after ages of individual alliances between nations.
  • After which Darka became mercenaries, since border wars were in the past.

The religion of Darka, Darkanism revolves around three gods. Sigrid, Darka and Lodril. Together these three gods create the needed elements for their holy volcano.

The press of Darka. Founded in the final month of 2006, this newspaper premiers in Atamara as one of the most active and reliable sources.

The Darkan Songbook

The folk lore often extends itself to entertain with music. Herein published are some of the greatest melodies and lyrics written by the Darkan population.

Home Guard

Run by the Arch Priest or Arch Preistess of Darka, is Darka's Home Guard. The Home Guard is responsible for maintenance of regions, mentoring newer troop leaders, monitoring trade, defense of Darkan cities, killing rogues, training troops and saving money.

Darkan Products

Darka is known for much of it's unique produce. These Darkan products include Seven Up (7-up), Momma Unicorn's Chocolate Chip Cookies and the Northern Light Lager.
