History
The people of Tara have a rich political History, from their origins as rebels, to their current participation in international diplomacy and warfare.
The name Tara is thought to have been a shortening of Tarasec, the original capital of the rebel realm.

As stated above, Tara is land-locked, and borders on four other realms: Cagilan Empire, Carelia, Redspan and Falasan. Because of it's border with Carelia, the region of Craigmore has seen large-scale military conflict between Tara and Carelia.
