The Lisieux Family Crest

The Lisieux family has resided in Arcaea for as long as any can remember. They have been a loyal family, and over the years have risen from the peasantry to the nobility. They are in general a kind and caring family, with streaks of bravery here and here.

Desiderata, known by her friends as Des or Desi, has grown up in Remton duchy for the past 17 years. She's blossoming into a young woman, and becoming more aware of the outside world every day. She's shorter in stature than some, standing at 5'3". Her hair is a rich brown color, a straight texture that reaches about mid-chest level. She has pretty brown eyes to accompany her hair color. She is athletic, and grew up running around, playing with the boys frequently. She eventually got a grip on her youthful naivety and realized that the real world was not simply fun and games. (Of course, she still enjoys some fun and games sometimes....) She's fairly friendly, and a good companion. She's intelligent, as well, which is always a good quality. She's a bit of a shy and timid person, so she is cautiously looking for new people to meet in an unfamiliar landscape.

Esme is not like her cousin Desiderata in just a few small ways. Esme is tall for a woman, standing 5'8". Her hair is a sleek raven black, falling all the way down to her lower back; the texture changes day to day. Her eyes are a pretty hazel color. Even at 24 years of age, Esme can stand up for herself. She is fiercely loyal, but at the same time, can be sly and manipulative. She knows when to turn on her charm and when to be straightforward. She isn't quite as relaxed as her cousin, and doesn't romp around in quite the same manner. Esme can be a bit hotheaded sometimes, but she also tries to be diplomatic.

Esme's History

Esme started off her career in Arcaea with her cousin, Desiderata, and brother, Gerard. Gerard moved to the Colonies when she was still young, while she and Desi stayed in the same area. She moved to Remton from her home region, Nocaneb. She stayed there, serving Arcaea as a Warrior for several years. However, life seemed to proceed slowly, and Esme grew bored of her lack of social life. ((to be continued...))

Ariadne's History

Born the bastard child of Dunstan Lisieux, she was raised to hate the Lisieux family. Yet she has taken their surname as a cover. Her mother - bitter and spiteful after Dunstan loved, impregnated, and left her - uses Ariadne as a means of revenge. Ariadne grew tired of her mother's hate and lectures, and when she was 16, she murdered her mother, and made it look like an accident. She made the decision that she would not hunt down the Lisieux family, but if she came upon them, they might come to a sticky end. She has learned archery, and how to wield knives and swords. She prefers archery, but always carries a pair of identical knives, one on each hip. However, Ariadne does not use violence and threats to get her way. Instead, she took a leaf out of her mother's book, and uses sex and flirtation to win over those that stand in her way. She hopes one day to become an infiltrator - an assassin. Those who venture to her bed - be wary, she may practice on you!
