Devibane Family
The Dark Chambers of Devibane
Originating from a successful shipping company out of Hamadan, the eldest and two younger of the four siblings have emerged to represent this little known family among the nobility. The eldest male sibling Zenoxban is set to take over the family business in Hamadan once it is passed down from the father. Adonis, the middle brother, set out on a ship to discover the legends of Dwilight, and to seek out the beasts he has long heard of in the stories he was told as a child. The youngest of the three, Gemini, has taken up the sword in the name of Caligus, the mighty kingdom of which his family hails. Alexandria and Clove are currently in Atamara, seeking the whereabouts of Clove's twin Blank. Clove and Blank are the bastard cousins of the Devibane's main line.

Gemini

Gemini is the youngest and most patriotic of the lot. Having been a child when the wars of Caligus raged against the Yssarians, Gemini has always held a hatred for the forces standing against the Caligan crown. Gemini has a close affinity with his sister Alexandria, whom he idolizes. She took up the sword before he did, when it was wrong for her to do so, and fought for the homeland. He is closer to his sister than any other sibling, as after she was sent home disgraces, she practically raised him. She taught him to use a sword, how to speak like a noble, how to carry himself with dignity and pride. Now of age and knowing that the fate of his family's successful company is not in his hands, but his eldest brothers, he now takes up the sword to defend his King and Caligus. Adonis

The middle brother who has always had a zeal for adventuring. Every time word was spread of monsters he would sneak off to watch the soldiers do battle with the mighty beasts, fascinated by the savage invaders. He would always pester his mother Sophia to tell him stories of the beasts that roam the wilderness of the newly discovered Dwilight. Now of age, he has successfully sailed upon one of his fathers boats to the land of beasts he has dream of as a child. Upon his arrival to the magnificent city of Golden Farrow, he was approached by the Coffermaster and offered a luxurious estate in Demyansk, a rich countryside just outside of the city's townsland. A few short days, after a few confrontation with the beasts in his new home of Kabrinkskia, he was promoted to being a Marshall, and charged with directing the mobile forces of the realm in the coordinated effort to keep the near constant invasion of monsters at bay. On April 1st, 2012, Terran declared war upon Kabrinskia, and rallied its allies Asylon, Barca and D'hara around itself. Adonis currently commands the acting military forces for Kabrinskia as they battle these four opponents on their southern boarder. Marshall of the Army of the Maddening Star 2/26/2012-Present

Alexandria

Alexandria is the eldest of them all, and the only female among the siblings. As per tradition, the eldest male will inherit the family company, so it is Alexandria's duty to run the company, instead her parents have have decided that she is to marry well, preferably higher into the noble hierarchy. However, she has no intention of following her parents wishes. She was caught at the young age of 18 staging as a man, fighting for over a year in the unit of a well known Caligan noble. She was sent home to Hamadan in shame. She has skill with a blade that outmatches all of her brothers and after several years of paperwork within the family shipping company, she has left her abode in Hamadan to seek out Blank, who ran from the family in search of his father in the mountains of Atamara. Along the way to Atamara, her ship was ambushed by vikings, who boarded her ship and killed her handmaiden Jules. Jules had been her best friend since childhood. Though she killed the men who had slain Jules, she had learned these vikings were from the north, and that the Republic of Coria, the realm which occupies the very mountains she seeks her cousin, are in a brutal war with the invading savages. Not one to believe in mere coincidence or to deny fate, Alexandria has once again taken up the sword, this time in her own right, to exact her vengeance upon the barbaric vikings while seeking her cousin between confrontations. Alexdria, being very ambitious, appealed to Merlin Silverfire, Duke of Barad Gardor to become the Viscountess of the war-stricken region of Lothruin, and to her surprise, he agreed. However, approximately a week later, the region revolted from Coria due to presence of vikings from Barony of Makar and Minas Ithil. Coria has won and lost Lothruin several times, though the region is currently extremely damaged, Alexandria expects to take up permanent lordship once the region is captured for good. Clove
|
Clove is the bastard daughter of Xora, whom is sister to Xemnark, father of Zenoxban, Alexandria, Adonis and Gemini. Clove followed her cousin Alexandria to Atamara to seek out her hard headed twin Blank, who is determined to discover the identity of their father. Their father was rumored to live in the mountains now occupied by the realm of Coria. After Clove recieved word of traces of Blank within Coria but the evidence suggested his search may have sent him south into Tara. She also heard of the viking menace that hassled Alexandria her upon her arrival and killed her handmaiden Jules. So Clove made haste, claiming nobility through the Devibane name, and made haste to Tara to aid Alexandria in the search of Blank, and to also draw Viking blood for the loss of her old friend. |

Blank
|
Blank is the bastard son of Xora, whom is sister to Xemnark, father of Zenoxban, Adonis and Gemini. Though offered a home and a job within the family company in Hamadan, Blank has impulsively left his family in Hamadan to find his father, which according to his mother is a man she had been with in the mountains of Atamara on her travels. Though Blank is supported by the Devibanes and treated as family, he is not en-nobled with the Devibane name and thus travels as a commoner. After searching for many weeks, and battling through various undead and monster encounters, Blank vanished after a particularly deep excursion into the mountains. He has not been heard from since.
