Meldeen is a region that has been traded between RedSpan and Tara for a long time, battle after bloody battle, including the largest battle recorded in the history of the world. RedSpan finally won firm control of the region and used it as a staging area for attacks on Tara. Now with an alliance between RedSpan and Tara in place the region will not be used by military traffic much more, only by the caravans of merchants, plying their trade in the two realms.
