Cori
Cori's emerald plains are home to several tribes of nomadic hunters as well as shaggy bison, wild horses and the great cats that stalk them. Only occasionaly do tribal feuds over territory and the herds they follow spill over near the villages but those naive enough to challenge a Mes'ahlt warrior in a game of spears frequently discover these people have a wicked sense of humor. Coincidently, the tribes are renowned for a very enduring dye that has deep, rich shades of green.
The infrequent villages are small affairs nested inside broad fields of maize, grain and flax. A few townships on the Cori/Tucha borders rely more on commerce and trade than what can be coaxed from the thin, arid soil.
Tradesmen, crafters and the occasional adventurer can be found in these towns, usually with a rumor or tale, depending on how free the ale flows and the size of the audience. Big game hunters, however, are rare for though the pelt of such a predator as the great cat; called a Corin Sphynx, can fetch a remarkable price, often the cat enjoys the hunt more than the noble…
History
The sea on the east coast of Cori provides enough moisture to grow some hearty grain. A former Region Lord, Count Trevor has developed the plants for his special baking requirements. He has also used the pottery developed in the region of Chato to produce some interesting bread shapes. The people of the region are settled into sea fishing villages on the coast or along the trade road coming from Tucha. They have adapted to the sparseness of the land and await the baking festivals that Count Trevor enjoyed hosting.
