Lamar

Lamar...a realm that no longer exists. But do the families that once served Lamar still exist? I am conducting a study to find out. Please, let us know if you are out there. Also, if you can develop an accurate history of this past realm, let it be known.

Findings About Lamar

-Lamar was the realm that colonized and created Redspan following the quote made by an enemy,"Fighting against Redspan spawn of traitorous Lamar," at what time I have not found.

-As noted in the history of redspan on the Redspan page Lamar was destroyed in the First Great War as Redspan puts and the war involved Redspan, Lamar and Abington fighting the Cagilan Empire, Tara, Talerium, Darka, Eston, and Carelia.

-Tara claims that destruction of Lamar stating her great growth as the force that caused it, but as evidence on the site www.hailnorland.com it was clearly the efforts of Carelia that ended Lamar.

-I can only assume that Lamar was based around the area that Carelia currently controls as they established Redspan and AJ a respected TL of Redspan states that Lamar's last territory and city was Strombran.

-A report from articles in the Atamara Times Archives states that around February and March in 2003 held the period of great war between Lamar and Callaway which I suppose to have existed in the area that Tara now occupies.

-In her prime Lamar was strong forcing the war against Callaway even after losing large portions of her army in Sullenport and Stargard. There is also evidence of them fighting against Hasland expansion and forcing their power as well.

-If any of this is wrong please change it my sources are mostly from Redspan as well and it would be appreciated if someone contributed by inerviewing others from other realms.

If you have not already look under the Atamara Times in the old archives and some history of Lamar is there. On the other hand if you have already finished researching my family is eager to hear your results.
