Jonn Kingsley was an Ashlantean noble, military commander, sea-farer, and traveler. Throughout his life he travelled to many lands, served many kingdoms, rulers, fought in wars, battles, daimonic invasions across the world. Though he began his career in Ash Sea Islands, he grew disillusioned with the military structure of the realm and set off on a journey that would take him throughout the seas of the world.

Arriving from his years long voyages, his ship wrecked upon the South-East Island, off the shores of the realm of Taselak. As he attempted to regain enough funds to set out on the seas again, he begrudgingly served the kingdom in its eternal war with the rest of the island. His prowess in battle impressed Taselak's queen, Mischa Vallejo. She hired him as her personal guard, and he travelled at her side everywhere for years, protecting her life from assassins, one of which took his eye during a struggle. Eventually, they fell in love, married and were inseparable until the island sunk beneath the waves due to a geographic tragedy.

Determined to find Mischa once again, Jonn travelled throughout all the islands to reunite with his love. Eventually they found one another and settled in the realm of Old Grehk on Beluaterra, where they lived in general peace, with the exception of the various wars against Old Grehk's neighbors which Jonn fought in to protect his wife and new home. Jonn's world was destroyed however at the beginning of the Fifth Invasion, when the daimons invaded and begun destroying Beluaterra, including killing Jonn's wife. Setting off to defeat the daimons, he ventured across the continent to do battle with the daimons and their allies, his war culminating in the Fall of Mesh.

After Mesh fell, Jonn returned to Old Grehk, and continued to fight the daimons, but growing bitter and disillusioned with Old Grehk's handling of the situation, he abandoned the realm to join Thalmarkin. After the invasion, Jonn was awarded command of the Legion of the Wolf, where he fought wars against Melhed, defeating them soundly. He also fought wars across Beluaterra against many other realms, becoming a feared commander all across the New World.
