Kingdom of Lamar

Lamar was once a realm in Atamara based roughly in the same geographical location as Carelia. Lamar was eventually destroyed in a long war with the NA in the later months of 1004 and in a tragic irony, her last city soon became Carelia's new capital.

History of Lamar

Points are recorded in what's believed to be somewhat of a chronological order.

  • At her zenith, Lamar is postulated to have controlled an empire stretching across much of the modern day realms of Carelia and RedSpan.
  • Lamar fought numerous wars in her lifetime, arguably the one most remembered is the one which caused her downfall. Although Lamar did cause waves of her own when she destroyed Callaway.
  • Dr. Sceptre of Lamar began the colony realm that became known as: RedSpan.
  • Lamar was destroyed in a great war with the Cagilan Empire, Tara, Talerium, Darka, Eston, and Carelia in late 1003. It has been argued the founding of Carelia was motivated primarily by the need to take Lamarian land.
  • RedSpan and Abington fought on the side of Lamar in her battle for existence, however they were unable to prevent her demise. Indeed, one of the final Chancellors of Lamar, ZOGXX has since cursed Abington bitterly for what has been perceived as Abington's betrayal - a massive Abington army was apparently stationed just a days journey from Strombran at the time of it's fall. (Sadly, this is a hazy, unreliable retelling of an old source. Maybe misinterpreted.)
