Please consider using Template:Infobox RegionData instead, which automatically fetches the relevant and always-correct data from the game engine itself. Use this template for historical pages where the region data is no longer available (e.g. the sunk south islands).

To convert, use the "image" property - the first number is the world-id, the second the region-id.

Description

The Mines of Isadril is a mountainous region in the southern highlands of the East Island. The Mines of Isadril is at the eastern edge of the Isadril Mountains, and is the source of the Isadril River.

History And Religion

As part of the Armistice between the Republic of Ubent and the Southern Federation, the Mines of Isadril were given by Zog Returns of Ubent to the Theocracy of Ibladesh.

Lady Kureshtev was Baroness of the Mines of Isadril at the time of the exchange and changed realms with her region. She is sworn to uphold the terms of the Armistice and keep the peace in the Mines.

The Mines of Isadril were many times in history a fierce battlefield. The extremely rich and populous mountain ranges offer much gold and one of the best trained units, together with extremely important strategic position. During the war of Ibladesh againts the combined forces of Itorunt and Caligus, the Mines have seen bloodlust again. After the Caligulans have relentlessly sieged the region they have managed to conquer it a few times and the region exchanged hands. In that war the Mines of Isadril have become the northern battlefield as Ibladesh fought at more than just one frontier.

The central feature of the Mines is the temple of the Church of Ibladesh. The huge structure was built by Baroness Kureshtev and is main focal point of the region's society and culture.
