Caergoth is a realm located on Atamara. It was formed on August 29, 2007, when Magnus the Mighty, Duke of Wayburg, seceded the Duchy of Wayburg from Abington. The city of Wayburg seceded within hours of Abington's recapture of the city of Riverholm from the short-lived secession of Aquitaine and was soon followed by the regions of Swanfolk, Chasnoff, Matakonis and Monagle. Almost immediately the new realm of Caergoth clashed with the Protectorate of Magnus and Ash Sea Islands. During the long war that followed, the Protectorate was crushed and the capital of Caergoth moved to Riverholm for logistical and security reasons.
Government
Caergoth is a Monarchy presiding over a Knighthood that follow a strict code of laws and conduct. The organization and rule of Caergoth is closely intertwined with the Knights of Caergoth secret society, such that separating the two would be impossible.
The High Conclave
The Conclave is the highest advisory council in the realm made up of ranking officials of the Knights of Caergoth. The Conclave consists of the King of Caergoth, realm councilors, and Marshals and seconds of the three orders of the Knights of Caergoth. These orders are as follows:
The Conclave discusses all military and political matters of the realm and serves as the board of the Knighthood.
Order of Valor and the Hammer
In addition to their role in the Knights of Caergoth, the Order of Valor are the landed nobility of Caergoth. Members include the King of Caergoth, realm councilors, Dukes of Riverholm, Ash'rily and Wor'ight, and their Earls, Viscounts and Barons. The Order of Valor deals mainly with administrative matters of the regions of Caergoth such as organizing region maintenance and homeland defense.

Notable Nobles of the Realm
The Stien Family hails from Chasnoff. It is here that the Ales of the south are produced by the Stien's a business that has been in their family for generations back. There has been only a few Nobles from the Stien family but of the ones that have achieved it they have managed to acquire some distinctive titles and honor for the Stien family. Judges, Bankers, Fallen Heroes, Dukes and other landed Titles of all types have fallen upon the Stien family Nobility over the years.
House Sciurus is an ancient noble house, fallen into obscurity but lately re-established in the city of Stoneville. Their keen interest in all matters of war and military tactics make them a natural fit in Caergoth society. Though members of House Sciurus can be found on many continents, all of them consider it a point of honor to return home to Caergoth one day.
