From BattleMaster Wiki

'Organisation' is a stat that was being tested for a short time and was used to... randomly place units around the battlefield. It was a scary and unrealistic usage of it. What 'Org' refers to is the ARMY organization rather than your unit. Mostly effected by the presence or lack of your army's marshal in a battle. It has no real usage right now since it's initial failed tests, perhaps it will mean something in the future, who can say. Training, cohesion and weapon quality has more to do with the hits your unit will score. -Balewind

My understanding is the stat now affects the effectiveness of each unit. All I can say is that whenever I see similar CS forces meet, the army with the higher Org tends to win. In the cases where one side is missing a marshal, I have observed quite large victories even though the CS is similar. Of course this could be due to other factors as well, such as army composition. --Masdus 23:00, 17 January 2011 (CET)
I'd love to see examples if you have any! -- Corwyn 00:22, 20 January 2011 (CET)

Battle Notes

You have this on your page:
A battle report showing the use of a forward infantry unit to break up the enemy's formation.

  • Note: this only occurs if a unit is ahead of the main army and it moves forward. I have another battle report where instead it was two archer units in front of the main army, and the enemy formation was not broken up.

Make sure you keep your battle reports separate between islands. The testing islands, Dwilight and Belauterra, have a different battle system right now than the stable islands. You have to make sure that you know what island each battle report comes from. The new battle system being used on testing islands should make the front line suicide unit tactic null and void, as there will be no overcrowding under the new system. Units that can't attack will just keep advancing until they find someone they can attack. It will still delay the few units that stay back to kill the suicide unit, but it will not stop an entire army from advancing. --Indirik (talk), Editor (talk) 14:23, 17 January 2011 (CET)

This is interesting to know... I hadn't realized that the testing islands were already using a new battle system (I don't have any characters on the testing islands). I've added that note. -- Corwyn 00:22, 20 January 2011 (CET)
Another FYI: The new battle system has now been implemented on all islands. This went into effect last week, I believe. You may need to review your battle mechanics against thew behaviors. --Indirik (talk), Editor (talk) 18:09, 1 February 2011 (CET)
