Darfix
It will be good if we could have more information about Darfix, at least the whereabouts of his characters in game... -- Gsklee 15 November 2005 11:44 (CET)
- "Darfix Panzer" is Lewis Fox, user id 4250.
- His characters:
- Darfix, presently a Baron in Sirion.
- Sukira, presently a Bureaucrat in Minas Ithil.
- Sienna, presently a Countess in Sandalak.
- Kitusi, presently a Soldier in Highland Empire.
- - Matt andrews 17 November 2005 13:05 (CET)
- Yeah you sure? Because it's that Sienna LOL! -- Gsklee 17 November 2005 13:17 (CET)
Paint
No, it wasn't a joke. If you check those geographical landmarks and cities in Darfix's original map, you'll find them all copypasted from the official 4 maps, some parts were reverted while some did not. In the final version of map, I extend this practice further to create various new land features that you won't find in the official maps, but they were all created by copypaste skill as well. -- Gsklee 20 January 2006 05:06 (CET)
Holy Crap
The map is awseome... Huge congratulations to those who made it. Though I don't see it as being very important right now (would simply (and only) drain Atamara and East Island if you ask me), this project is really cool... So what has become of it? -Chénier 20:20, 31 December 2006 (CET)
That is precisely the point, to help drain Atamara and East Continent --Bishamon Family 00:03, 1 January 2007 (CET)
Are they overcrowded? I only noticed the large population in the battle island, but that was to be expected. What were Tom's last words on this anyways? Think he can give it to us as a christmas gift? ;) -Chénier 01:01, 1 January 2007 (CET)
New Realms
How's that going to work on this continent when it opens? Elenar 01:12, 30 January 2007 (CET)
- I don't know, but I cam assure you quite a few people have already made plans for this... I just hope we get acess to atleast all portal cities at the start, if not all the cities. -Chénier 03:17, 30 January 2007 (CET)
- Well if you guys have time, you can create a certain amount of basic realms with randomised government types, take care of the council and lordship positions for a while (a titan per realm?) until there's a certain amount of nobles in a realm (10 maybe?), then you make elections available and the realm is on rails.
- Randomized? Anyhow, I'm pretty sure Tom knows how he'll start it out, and this is probably all work that'll be done by him, no matter what we do. However, if he asks for help, then yeah, I'd do what's needed... -Chénier 22:43, 7 February 2007 (CET)

Regions
I'm assuming the will remain as "West Continent/Region" and not be changed to "Dwilight/Region", seeing as how it's a heavy load of work that seems to have very little benefit. Otherwise, well, I'd volunteer to help the conversion and setting up the region pages once the images are available. I wasn't here at the start of this project, so I couldn't contribute then, but this is just so inspiring. It offers possibilities you don't have on old islands, so I'll do what I can to help. -Chénier 04:44, 30 January 2007 (CET)
- None of those region pages actually exist yet, so it would be a simple "Search and Replace" operation in any text editor. I don't know if I would bother actually creating all the individual region pages. They really don't get much use. I would let the users create the pages as they are needed. --Indirik 02:45, 8 February 2007 (CET)
- Gee, you are right, there's very little to do, none of the pages have actually been created. And indeed, most of those pages are without interest, exept perhaps for the cities, but even those pages don't serve much purpouse. I'll convert the links on the article's page. -Chénier 03:10, 8 February 2007 (CET)
- Changed the links on the weather list templates. Should be simpler for onces region pages start popping up. -Chénier 03:21, 8 February 2007 (CET)
Why on earth are people setting up region pages for places not even discovered in game yet? --Revan 17:54, 22 February 2008 (CET)
- As holder pages I guess. They are nice to have so you don't have a page full of red links. Other than that, I dunno. --Kag 17:58, 22 February 2008 (CET)
Newspaper
Just wanted to point out that there is now a page created in anticipation of the opening of the island for Dwilight News. A continent-wide newspaper entitled the Dwilight Daily is already in its planning stages, even before the opening of the continent! Interesting... --V2Blast 09:11, 22 August 2007 (CEST)
Current Realm Map
Is this really necessary? It may be great on faster connections but a map that can change twice daily takes a bit to load on a dial-up connection where your download speed is in the range of 2-5 kb/s. --Kag 21:28, 2 November 2008 (CET)
- I removed it the first time and put it as another map link. It got readded. Then Veritek removed it again. I think it should go back to the map section instead of having its own section. I don't really like a section consisting of one line for a link to a map when it could fit in better with other maps. --Vita Family 22:53, 2 November 2008 (CET)
- Personally, I don't care for having all those other maps on the page at all. This page should be for IC information about Dwilight. The region ID and weather area maps are completely OOC (and mostly useless now that all the setup/data entry work is done). Move all these other maps over to the Maps page, like was done on all the other islands, and just leave a link here to that page. Even the OOC history section should be removed and placed on a subpage, with a link at the bottom of this page pointing to it. I'll probably work on some of that later today. --Indirik 15:02, 3 November 2008 (CET)
Small Geo Map
Does someone have the correct geographic map? I just realized its the original version. --Vita Family 17:45, 25 December 2008 (CET)
- I don't think there was ever one posted. I've looked around and I can't find one. Gsklee may have one, since he's the one that put the region names and borders on. --Indirik 03:26, 26 December 2008 (CET)
- Does it really matter?--Athins 22:00, 26 December 2008 (CET)
- Yes, because we shouldn't be displaying incorrect map pages on continents. It really doesn't look very well done or cared for if we do that. --Vita Family 01:53, 27 December 2008 (CET)
Madinan Tournament?
How is this a significant event? I would understand if it's the first tournament held in Dwilight or something, but...
- I'd say it's the first major tournement due to it's prize. Plus it was to celebrate that Madina had conquered all the regions on both islands. That's a significant event for the Realm. Phellan 18:12, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
- I included it because relatively little had happened at the time and a tournament is a bit of a big occurrance in a nobleman's life. I will certainly add more information to it from what Phellan has mentioned. Feel free to add more to the history. --Vita Family 23:28, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
Updating
Someone with more skill and authority than me...
As there has been alot of change on Dwilight, it would be great to update this page to reflect that. Is there a way to create a history section for the older wars but I am not sure
- There is Dwilight/History where the older history section should be moved to. --AbstractLogic (talk) 10:21, 22 December 2019 (CET)
