August Power Rankings
August 20, 1012

First Place: Sirion - The economic and military powerhouse, they got it all under one banner. Though their recent war with Westmoor was a bit lacking compared to past wars, they are still the largest on the continent and a huge powerhouse. Along with creating one colony and helping make another realm it seems that they have a hand in everything up north. Will their influence spread south?

Second Place: Perdan - The military powerhouse of the south, the armies of Perdan come to march and other realms think twice about coming to the battlefield. After some very successful, and impressive wars the might of Perdan is known to all. It is no surprise this strong economy and strong military comes in a close second. After allowing two realms to come up from the Ibladesh remains, it is clear that Perdan has the control and influence in the south, will that influence spread north?

Third Place: Caligus - A strong economy protected by a very strong military, it should surprise none that Caligus holds up the third spot this month. With a successful colony under their belt, and winning their last two wars they are a might to be feared.

Fourth Place: Westmoor - Followed by a war with Sirion, the economy and military of Westmoor stood quite well, taking and giving hits in a war that nobody thought they would stand much of a chance in. The showing was able to keep Westmoor in the top half.

Fifth Place: Nivemus - A strong economy and good military have Nivemus sitting in a strong fifth spot. Expansion seems to have come to end, at least for now, but there are still options for this strong realm to grow, should they choose to.

Sixth Place: Armonía - Seems to have a slight advantage in their war, with a good economy and strong military. Recent wins and current regions put the difference between sixth and seventh in favor of Armonía.

Seventh Place: Eponllyn - In a difficult spot it seems, a very strong food producer having trouble holding the line. A step down, but not out. This realm could still turn the tides in the war and retake their lost position.

Eighth Place: Obsidian Islands - Solid regions with a good economy and decent military, not many choices to expand with or ways to build up at this point, seems to be in a holding pattern of sorts.

Ninth Place: Dunnera - A new up-and-coming realm, there are some high expectations here. Being created from Caligus and Sirion and having at least two cities to count on this realm has room to grow. Should be interesting what happens with this new realm.

Ibladesh City
August 18, 1012

Ashforth, Fontan, Itorunt, Semall...what do they all have in common? They all where the birthplace of new realms. Every city is claimed and flies a banner of a realm, except two. Everyone knows Krimml will be going to Dunnera, but what of Ibladesh city? Does Armonía plan to take it? Does Eponllyn plan to? Maybe Perdan will make it their prize for winning the war? Perhaps another new colony even?

Birth of Dunnera
August 18, 1012

A new realm born out of Fontan City, Dunnera. It is said this is a new colony effort in joint between Sirion and Caligus. It will hold the cities of Fontan and Krimml and perhaps even Karbala. This is a very tight spot for a new colony to be born, but has many options when it comes to expanding, mind you we are not saying any of these are good options, just that they are options. They could expand into Sirion, Westmoor, Caligus and maybe even Nivemus or Obsidian Islands depending how and where they expand. At any rate, we wish this realm the best of luck, as with any new realm it will be very interesting to see how things develop.

Southern Explosion
August 18, 1012

Armonía, Eponllyn...The realms born from the ashes left by the fallen Ibladesh. Theories once rose about these realms, would they stick together and unite against Perdan? Caligus? Which one has the right to Ibladesh City, if either? Would they not be able to handle disputes and go to war against each other? Do they wish for this war to create a stronger realm and as one reclaim Ibladesh City? Of these theories, most are unverifiable until it actually happens. Well one of them did, war. This is the Southern Fallen War, and I name it this because it is the two most southern realms, born of a fallen realm fighting to recover what was lost and destroyed. In terms of geography this is a great war, close capitals, few regions each, two cities each and no outside help for either.

Westmoor
August 18, 1012

Westmoor, a realm founded out of Westmoor City, and also in control of Oligarch City. After a long, and bloody war, Perdan and Caligus stepped in and helped finish off the once mighty Fontan. Sirion, before the end of Fontan, declared on Westmoor, to stop the expansion of Westmoor into Fontan lands.
