Solaria is the name given to land holdings of the Sovereign House Solari, which seceded from Pian en Luries during the reign of Koli, King of Pian en Luries. Solaria is governed centrally, after the historic fashion more common in ancestral Solari lands. Having known chronic blight and hunger, it is preoccupied with grain. The Arbiter retains four councilors, each responsible for the oversight of the armies, the land and grain.

A liege is similarly entrusted with the management of a Solarian claim and claim to a large portion of the bounty. Together with the councilors, they comprise the Arbiter's court, where the business of commerce and war is done. Reflecting Poryatown's rich cultural heritage, it encourages a complex religious and philosophic tradition. What can appear as a militant disposition is really a reflection of the society's organization.
