Shadovar is not for the faint of heart or the weak of will. We are nobles bound by a strong sense of order and ambition to conquer this land and subjugate its peasants. Insolence, veiled or not, is not tolerated.
We submit to no one. We shall not be overcome. And we shall revel in the blood of any who dare to oppose us.
Essence
The essence of Shadovar is a far cry from that of its parent realm, Pian en Luries. Order and harsh justice create an intense atmosphere of efficiency and determination that demands the best of its nobility. The commoners know their place well as subordinates in the land; indeed, life is the only mercy they are afforded. Treasonous thoughts are cut off at the neck by the Dictator and Decapitator of Shadovar, Lord Edelstein Greneburie. Enemies of the realm are less fortunate. The military of Shadovar, led by the Strategic Commander, Lord Kaagami Icewalker, delights in the intertwined arts of pain and war. The spirit of Shadovar pervades even the tight-knit bureaucracy, where Lady Kristabelle of Emerald Flare, the Mistress of Mammon presides. Her blade cuts as deep as any in Shadovar, and her wit is honed to an even deadlier edge.

The attack had been prompted by the conflict between claims of land, specifically the Port Raviel island. However, the three-on-one war concerned many of Shadovar and Dictator Edelstein Greneburie was quick to try to work things out.
Melodian Rebellion

After a few days, Melodia had a new leader, which opened up new opportunities for Shadovar. Would Shadovar attack Melodia, taking advantage of their weakened state? Deferring to the latter option, Shadovar tried to make things work with Melodia. Through continued proposals between the opposing realms, a treaty was settled upon and signed by both governments.
