Reputedly crafted in Redspan on Atamara from a single scale of The Last Dragon in the myth-shrouded days of the Ancient Kings. How it came to East Island is unknown, nor has its discoverer Brigdha Dubhaine revealed the details of its revelation. However as House Dubhaine has its origins in the Cagilan Empire some speculate that the heirloom has long been in their possession but never before revealed.
Others tell a wilder tale, enmeshed with the legends of sorcery and aetheric power which have long dogged Lady Brigdha's career. Is this artefact perhaps related to the devotion she inspires in the peasantry and their willingness to take up arms in her cause?
