Family History

Lervoreeth family originates from the golden fields of Orz in continent of Dwilight. When Baghudar Lervoreeth, not so wealthy a noble, recognized a leading force in King Kaennji Shenron, and along with many other nobles, he flocked under the banners of a newly formed Monarchy of Pian en Luries. During this age fist human realms were formed in wilderness of Dwilight. Baghudar Lervoreeth was a relatively skillful commander, but most of his small household died during a siege of Askileon. Brave man as he was he fell peirced by many rogue arrows defending the rearguard of a retreating troop. Askileon was easily taken later in the day, but death of Baghudar was a great blow to Lervoreeth family, since without male upholder or protector their name was not recognized among other nobility.

Baghudar's wife Murtila Lervoreeth was left with two sons, Sigismund and Grisogon. Grisogon was born 10 days after Baghudar's death, which fell extremely hard on Murtila. She had two sons to raise and a family name to restore, with no help at all. First years were hardest, she had to work the fields with her own hands, but, luckily, she was a strong woman, raised in harsh Dwilight manner. By this time Orz had become carved in her heart; she vowed never to leave it. She fought both life and restoration, and emerged victortious in the end. When Sigismund turned 18, things started to improve for the Lervoreeths, since he was well trained in politics and warfare. Finally in Spring of year 1009 of Zissa, the Lervoreeth nobilty was recognized and raised among other peers by Queen Allana Anaris.

The older son, Sigismund Lervoreeth stepped in the service of the throne without delay, becoming a knight of Poryatu at age of 25. Grisogon Lervoreeth, only 17 then, was sent for further military education to East Island, where many fine military academies were available.

Thus a noble life of Lervoreeth family has begun.

Family Name Origin

In elder Dwili tongue lervor represents a mythical beast with a head, talons and wings of an eagle and the body of a lion. Lervor is a griffin in nowadays Common tongue. Although there is no evidence of this beast's true existence other than lore of old, the oldest family heritage leads all the way to Age of Vengeance, when one of the clans fighting among the faithful in the Battle of Fallen Stars was named Ordo Lervoris. From Ordo Lervoris then came Lervor Clan, which with time evolved into Lervoreeth Family.

Generally speaking lervoreeth would in Common tongue mean "dascending of the griffin" or "originating from the griffin". Truth or myth, griffin is used to denote strength and military courage as well as leadership, and has thus become rooted in the Lervoreeth family for eons. It is to be noted however, that Lervoreeth family has nothing to do with griffin shown in the new banner of Pian en Luries.
