Madina claimed to be the first to start settling Dwilight. Although these claims can not be verified by documents, it is clear that Madina was most certainly the most successful colonizer: Madinese culture spread across almost the entire Occidens and even competed with Lurian culture for hegemony over Forland. Madinese naval culture lead to exploration and trade, involed little resistance from local cultures, who would generally prosper from entering into the Madinese sphere of influence.
