King Si Ju Jarugi sends a message to all Drachenwaldian troopleaders: Do we have any progress about moving the capital back to Nazia?
+
__NOTOC__
 +
It was in the days that an outnumbered Drachenwaldian army failed to defend Tarasac from the joint forces of the Cagilans, Tarans, and Darkans. Our great queen, Lucela Aegis, had tried everything she could to save the realm and after that she stepped down as promised for free elections. Her successor was the known infiltrator, Si Ju Jarugi Petterson, who should prove to be a great Drachenwaldian king despite the circumstances.

 +
Under Si Ju Jarugi the Drachenwaldians came to understand that they fail because they moved their capital from Nazia, where the Dragon lived, to Tarasac, where the money was. They understood that in order to be saved they needed to show their dedication to the dragon once again and move their capital back to Nazia.

The answer is a letter from Nemethos:

Nemethos Saladi'ilm was the High Marshal of our realm and as a general he understood that the debates would not save Drachenwald. He managed to smuggle the military department out of Tarasac, which was filled with enemy armies, but when back in our mountains, he was caught by the invaders.

Although Nemethos did not succeed in his goal, this action inspired Risfou. In a letter to the Strategic council, he tells he has a plan to get the capital back to Nazia and asks permission to take charge in this. He also writes: we need to find out what happened with the military department, moved by Nemethos.
+
Risfou's Action
 +
He did, however, not fail! For this action inspired Risfou, the humble writer. He sent a letter to his colleagues in the council.

At first his asking for taking charge brings confusion and Lord Envirgar disagrees. But this is talked out and Si Ju Jarugi asks him to share his plan. Risfou shares his plan and gets permission from his king.
+
Today lord Nemethos had been captured while he tried to move the military department.

Risfou immediately calls for a scribe and sends a letter to all non-captures troopleaders in Drachenwald, in which he shares his plan and gives orders.
+
Time for talking is over, it is time to take action. If the departments do not come to Nazia by themselves, we will bring them up here.

The plan needs two troopleader, Silver and Vinnie, to protect former queen Lucela and help her getting the departments with their officials and paperwork unnoticed out of Tarasac. Via Nazgorn-Galadia-Nazia these departments will be protected and guided by the so-called "Guiders": Penny, Arcadia and Krator. There are also two "Watchers", Ben's and Risfou, since the guiders will only travel between two posts. The "Watchers" are to guard the departments while they wait for the following "Guider" to take them with. Gilead is asked to prepare their arrival in Nazia.
+
I ask permission to take charge in this action. My plan will be to set up a smugglers chain via Nazgorn-Galadia and to point some troopleaders, including Lucela, to smuggle all important paperwork out of Tarasac.

With these orders he also send a personal request for Lucela. Then he waits the night for responses.
+
Besides that we need to find out what happened with the military department, moved by Nemethos.

During the night Ben's responds and receives special orders from Risfou.

... what? Nazia? Who's idea was it to put the Capital in Nazia???!!
+
We will appoint troopleaders to help Lucela gathering all our departments and paperwork in Tarasac.
 +

 +
In order to succeed the papers have to be smuggled out of Tarasac and also the officials will need to get out of there without the enemy troops noticing. Therefor we either need someone knowing secret passages, or money to get help from locals.
 +

 +
We need troopleaders to guide the departments, and in order to make this moving as fast as possible, we need three. This is because we take the save Tarasac-Nazgorn-Galadia-Nazia route.
 +

 +
But since the guiders must move as fast as possible, we also need troopleaders to watch the departments, when they wait in Nazgorn or Galadia, when the next guider has not come back yet from his previous trip.
 +

 +
In the end we need someone in Nazgorn to receive the departments. I saw Gilead was already preparing the old government building and I suggest him to do that.
 +

 +
This is my plan and if all goes well, Nazia will be our capital soon again.

Nemethos took action and is therefor imprisoned. Let us bring him honor and fulfill his plan: if the departments do not come to Nazia, we will bring them to there!
 +

 +
Of course we can't risk CE finding out, so it has to be done unnoticed and quickly. In short the plan will be to get them one by one out of Tarasac and guide them via the Tarasac-Nazgorn-Galadia-Nazia path, which should be save.
 +

 +
PART 1 - Tarasac: LUCELA will be helped with gathering the departments and paperwork, which must be smuggled out of the city - unnoticed.
 +

 +
VINNIE and SILVER: You will help Lucela. Listen very careful to her orders and if necessary give your life for her, since she knows where to find the hidden documents.
 +

 +
You both should also be known with all hidden passages in and around Tarasac, therefor it will be your job to smuggle the paperwork and guide the department officials unnoticed out of Tarasac.
 +

 +
PART 2 - GUIDERS: We need three guiders. These men will travel between to posts and make sure the department officails and paperworks arrive safely.
 +

 +
PENNY: You will be the guider between Tarasac and Nazgorn.
 +

 +
ARCADIA: You will be the guider between Nazgorn and Galadia.
 +

 +
KRATOR: You will be the guider between Galadia and Nazia.
 +

 +
PART 3 - WATCHERS: We need two watcher, one in Nazgorn and one in Galadia. Their job is to make sure that when a guider delivers a group, the group can stay safely at their post, until the next guider comes to get them.
 +

 +
BEN'S: You will be the watcher at Nazgorn.
 +

 +
I, RISFOU, will be the watcher at Galadia.
 +

 +
PART 4 - NAZIA: GILEAD will welcome the departments and prepare spaces for them.
 +

 +
The longer we wait, the more dangerous it will become since CE captured Nemethos while he was moving the military department. We still don't know what happened with the department.
 +

 +
Also, because the posts in Galadia and Nazgorn must be kept secret, secret information will follow for those who will accept the mission.
 +

 +
PENNY, ARCADIA, KRATOR, BEN'S this will be especially meant for you, so confirm.

Find a barkeeper, who you can totally trust and also a place which is a save hide out for our travelers. Show the place to the barkeeper and tell him the following things:

 +
If someone comes to him, the following conversation has to take place:

 +
STRANGER: Do you serve Talerium beers?
 +

 +
BARKEEPER: I do, but I suggest you to take the Drachenwaldian.
 +

 +
STRANGER: If you accept Drachenwaldian gold.
 +

 +
BARKEEPER: How many do you want?
 +

 +
STRANGER: Give me 6.
 +

 +
If this conversation happens, he has to bring the stranger to the secret place. Also tell him that he must only go with that stranger, for a codeword is needed.
 +

 +
If you can't find a barkeeper, warn me, please.

Gilead enters Alaise
Just inside the border of Sauvia, a hooded man walked down the center of the main road. Flanked by trees on both sides, dark shadows fell across the man’s scared face. While the man was only 30 years old, matters of state had added ten years to his appearance. The heavy pack he carried sat hunched over his shoulders, keeping his pace slow, and his back hunched.

“There is no need for weapons; as you can see, my rapier is broken,” the man said. And it was true; just above the hilt, the rapier’s blade was neatly broken. “I broke it defending my palace, and now return to Drachenwald’s lands in peace.”

The guard moved his hand away from his sword as the man sheathed his broken rapier. He stared at the man. Defending his palace? Surly this man was a raving lunatic… but… could it be? The guard knew that face; he had seen it in the Tara Times! “You are Gilead Occam! The last Dictator of Drachenwald?”

“Yes,” replied Gilead, “I return to Drachenwald on bureaucratic business, carrying papers and historical records. I am not carrying anything of military value, and mean you no harm.”

 +

 +
The last dictator of Drachenwald began to tell his story, how he helped defending Tarasac and about the betrayal of Caliber. The guard looked thoughtful as Gilead Occam ended his tale. “So we have taken your capital. I imagine that means the end to this war. What will Drachenwald do now?”
 +

 +
“Since then, we have had, by the Dragon, at least 3 revolutions in hardly a week. I now serve as the Royal Treasurer, as we are now ruled by Divine Right.
 +

 +
For many years, the seat of Drachenwald’s power rested in Nazia. We have long since converted our old governmental buildings into museums and shrines to The Dragon. But with a little ingenuity, and our old records, we will reactivate them. We will return to our mountains, and start anew.”
 +

 +
Gilead knew he had tarried too long. Without another word, Gilead Occam stood up, and continued walking into Drachenwald lands, carrying with him the forms and record they needed to reform their government on its historic throne. The guard made no move to stop him.

They slow down their horses and slowly draw their swords. When the other rider sees them, he also stops and from a distance he shouts: "Lord Risfou?" "Yes!" "I bring you some messages."

Risfou rides towards the messenger and takes a letter from Arcadia. After reading it, he quickly writes a message with secret orders and hands it out to the messenger. "Is there more?" The messenger hands out a short letter from Penny, which is again followed by the writing of orders. "Anything else?" Risfou asks. "Yes, rumors say lady Lucela and lord Silver have been captured."
 +
Risfou thinks for a moment. "Has Olan returned from Eaglin?" "I heard so." "Is he without a unit?" "I'm not sure, but I suppose he is." "Maybe he is willing to replace Silver, but Lucela will be a bigger problem."
 +
Risfou thinks again. "There must be an elder one in Nazia, I will ask Gilead to replace Lucela until she comes back." He looks up to the messenger. "That was it?" The messenger responds with a smile and says: "Greed wondered why he was left out."
 +
Risfou laughs and answers: "Tell him we need all soldiers to defend, I hope he still has some."

 +

 +
YOU: Do you serve Talerium beers?
 +

 +
BARKEEPER: I do, but I suggest you to take Drachenwaldian.
 +

 +
YOU: If you accept Drachenwaldian gold.
 +

 +
BARKEEPER: How many do you want?
 +

 +
YOU: Give me 6.
 +

 +
If this happens, he will guide you to a secret place, which is the post of Ben's. Ben's has orders to take care of everyone not knowing the password. so remember it very well.
 +

 +
PASSWORD: Just escaped.
 +

 +
STEP 2: Rendez-vous with our men in Tarasac.

.
+
When you enter Tarasac from Nazgorn, go to the first bar on you right. At the entrance you will meet a man. Make sure the following conversation happens:

“It all started two weeks ago. The armies of CE and Darka had taken Sauvia, and cut us off from our mountain realm. Your allies planned to starve us out; it was the smart thing to do; what they had tried to do months ago when we had slaughtered CE’s army with little more than rocks and sharpened sticks!” I paused for a minute, recalling our singular (but rather grand) victory. “But I digress. What they didn’t know was that I had prepared for that contingency after they had tried it the first time; we had weeks, no, months of food stockpiled in Tarasac, with a group of traders being mobilized to shore up this supply. We could have held the siege for the rest of my days. But that was not to be.
+
YOU: I'm looking for fish.

Falasan’s army had been helping us guard our capitol’s walls. They had been allies of the most dedicated sort. But Tara’s army moved on their territory, and, just as I’m sure your General expected, they could not help us when we needed them most. On December 1st, the armies of Tara, Darka, and Cagil marched on Tarasac.
+
MAN: My nephew Gilead is a fisher.

Our defenses were strong. The walls of Tarasac are of Taran design, and are as close to impenetrable as a wall can be. And attacker must first scale the outside wall. The wall is almost vertical; ladders are required. It is practically impossible to break this wall; it consists of two layers of solid rock, each seven hands thick. All the while the outer ramparts would be manned by archers raining down arrows, swordsman tossing rocks at unarmored opponents, and peasants splashing scalding oil on those who got too close to any breach. On that day, I ordered all our infantry and our archers to man the outer parapets. We would not budge one inch!
+
YOU: Good, bring me to him.

On that day, your forces stood in a single line that stretched as far as the eye could see. Your infantry and your archers had interspersed themselves, so your archers could provide covering fire for your infantry as they advanced together. Your infantry! Something was wrong with your Infantry! Squinting, I could see concealed beneath the shields of your soldiers, ladders enough to climb to the very realm of the Dragon! You had come prepared.
+
Gilead will lead the smuggling out of Tarasac. He will choose a place outside Tarasac where he and his men will smuggle the paperwork and officials to.

‘Stand ready!’ I yelled! ‘Today is the day we show them that we can defend ourselves! For the DRAGON!’ A thunderous roar was taken up by the Army of Drachenwald, and the armies of CE, Darka and Tara began to advance.
+
STEP 3: Everytime he delivers officials or documents, travel with them to the post in Nazgorn. After you delivered them at Ben's, you go back to your post in Tarasac.

‘Archers, at the ready!’ I called. Captains and Sergeants relayed the order up and down the walls, and in unison, our archers drew their bowstrings taught.
+
Remember that there will be also a password for the post in Tarasac. This will be only known by you, Gilead and his men.

For a second, just a second, your formation broke. Charging ahead, your cavalry and a few units of over-eager infantry arrived at the wall, without siege equipment in position.
+
You have to protect the officials and the paperwork with your life!
‘Release the arrows!’

In the first volley, practically every man in all 9 foolhardy units was killed. A cheer went up through the defenders! There was hope! Perhaps we could turn them back!

But then, the main formation of Tara moved into position. The noise of 5000 arrows, fired at once, is a terrible noise. The sound that 10000 arrows made that day is a sound I will never forget. The first attacker volley blotted out the sun like a plague of locusts. One hundred, nay, a thousand of our men died in that single volley.
+
may the Dragon be with you,

Then, the ladders came.

GILEAD, OLAN and VINNIE.

‘Draw your swords! Push them back!’ I yelled, drawing my rapier. Foolishly leaving my unit, I ran to the closest ladder, and with all my strength, pushed it backwards, off the ramparts. But there were too many ladders, we could not hold the wall. We had to fall back!
+
Gilead will be in charge and I suggest him and Olan to change their class to Infiltrator, for it might make the change smaller that they will be captured. Vinnie just has to do his very best not to be seen.

I whirled around, looking for a way our forces could return to the inner gate. But then, our folly was apparent. To fall back meant opening the inner gate. Opening the inner gate meant letting our enemies into the city without a fight. Letting our enemies into the city meant losing the city. But I could not leave all our men to die here!
+
I ask Olan and Vinnie to confirm.

I was about to give the order to fall back, when a group of Cagilan infantry came running down the parapets towards me. I have my whole life been a bureaucrat, a Judge, a political operative. I am far more lethal with a pen than a sword. But with a scream, I charged the unit. Catching the first man off guard, I buried my point deep within his chest. With a gurgle, he tipped off the ramparts into a group of archers below. Whipping my blade to right, I neatly drew a red line across another soldier’s neck. But, as I said, I am not a solider, and a third man delivered a sword slash and kick to my back, and I tumbled ignobly off the wall into the inner moat 30 feet below.
+
When I left Nazia, Envirgar was still there. I ask him to take charge in preparing it for the return of our departments.

Had the wound been deeper, or if I had not learned to swim as a child, that would have been the end of me. As it was, I could not move enough to fight further. Pulling myself out of the dirty water, I ran, nay, hobbled, to the inner gate ordering whoever I came across to rally at the palace. We would make our final stand in the streets of Tarasac!

For some time, I did not think I would even make it back to my palace. Tarasac is a large city, and the Palace lies nearly a mile inside the walls. At the time, it seemed like 100 miles. Ever step brought agony to the gaping cut on my backside. However, as I do stand before you now, I did make it not only to my Palace, but also up the hundred marble stairs that raise the structure above the roofs of the surrounding buildings.
+
Because you have been our latest dictator, I hoped you would be able to replace Lucela for the time being. It is of the highest importancy that you won't be captured. Therefor I will give the ones that have to meet you the following orders:

At the top of those stairs stood four men I recognized; three infantry and one noble who I did not want to see.
+
When approaching from Nazgorn, they have to go to the first bar at their right in Tarasac.

‘Caliber! You traitor!’ Even in my present condition, I recognized the rebel leader (and the entire rebel force of 3 Infantry). Without gloating, without a word, they attacked.
+
When approaching from Sauvia the first at their left.

Already wounded, if they had rushed me all together I would have had little chance of escaping alive or with my throne. But they had not seen the cut on my back, and were wary of my ability. So instead, they attacked one at a time. My rapier was still in my hand, and I deftly stabbed the first man through the eye. My blade caught in his skull, and his falling body dragged me off guard. Seeing his moment, the second man attacked with a great axe. With all my remaining strength (and a sickening crack), I wrenched my rapier from my first victim, and brought it above my head to block the axe.
+
There a man has to wait at the entrance and the following conversation should take place:

As you might expect, a rapier does not have the thickness to block an axe. The great axe simply sheared my blade, and nearly took my head. But thinking quickly, I twisted out of the way, and took a step back.
+
OUR MAN: I'm looking for fish.

My retreating foot did not find resistance, however, as I had stepped off the top of the grand stairs! Off balance, I tumbled backwards and felt sharp marble against my back, my arms, my neck, my head. Everything after this was rather blurry, but I recall both the sound of my own ribs fracturing, and the sound of Caliber declaring himself the new ruler. To this day, I do not know which was worse.”
+
YOUR MAN: My nephew Gilead is a fisher.

The guard looked thoughtful as Gilead Occam ended his tale. “So we have taken your capitol. I imagine that means the end to this war. What will Drachenwald do now?”
+
OUR MAN: Good, bring me to him.

“Since then, we have had, by the Dragon, at least 3 revolutions in hardly a week. I now serve as the Royal Treasurer, as we are now ruled by Divine Right.
+
The man has to bring them to you. You also have to find a place outside the city, to where the departments will be smuggled and from where Penny will guide them to Nazgorn.

For many years, the seat of Drachenwald’s power rested in Nazia. We have long since converted our old governmental buildings into museums and shrines to The Dragon. But with a little ingenuity, and our old records, we will reactivate them. We will return to our mountains, and start anew.
+
This place needs passwords, so that in the night, everyone can be sure that the right people are there. These passwords are to be made by you and to be only known by those involved with Tarasac.

Gilead knew he had tarried too long. Without another word, Gilead Occam stood up, and continued walking into Drachenwald lands, carrying with him the forms and record they needed to reform their government on its historic throne. The guard made no move to stop him.
+
May you lead as well as you did before,

I have heard rumors that lady Lucela has been captured. Since I did not receive a confirmation from here that she found a barkeeper and a place. I ask you to do that.
Risfou and his 2 scouts are exhausting their horses on the road towards Galadia, as they see another rider approaching.

They slow down their horses and slowly draw their swords. When the other rider sees them, he also stops and from a distance he shouts: "Lord Risfou?" "Yes!" "I bring you some messages."
+
Try to find some sort of cave or something, where a group of department officials can go to, without being seen by to many men.

The messenger hands out a short letter from Penny, which is again followed by the writing of orders. "Anything else?" Risfou asks. "Yes, rumors say lady Lucela and lord Silver have been captured."
+
Next choose a barkeeper known as an honost men in the region. Tell him what conversation he must have and where to lead the right people.

Risfou thinks for a moment. "Has Olan returned from Eaglin?" "I heard so." "Is he without a unit?" "I'm not sure, but I suppose he is." "Maybe he is willing to replace Silver, but Lucela will be a bigger problem."
+
Money should not be a to great issue.

Risfou thinks again. "There must be an elder one in Nazia, I will ask Gilead to replace Lucela until she comes back." He looks up to the messenger. "That was it?" The messenger responds with a smile and says: "Greed wondered why he was left out."

Other news disturbs the overworked mind of Risfou. First: Penny will not be able to fulfill his mission, since he has been appointed to count in Alaise – although this was only a minor problem. Second: his king has sent infiltrators to Tarasac to retrieve the needed documents; they would contact Risfou as soon they were done, but still nothing is heard of them. Third: he reads a letter from Gilead, in which he states that he managed to get documents from Tarasac to Sauvia, but had to hide them there and does not know the exact location.

Meanwhile Gilead understood that Risfou had not heard of his achievements, yet, and sent him a letter. Also Penny was appointed to become Count of Alaise.

The Restoration of Nazia

by Risfou Rigou

It was in the days that an outnumbered Drachenwaldian army failed to defend Tarasac from the joint forces of the Cagilans, Tarans, and Darkans. Our great queen, Lucela Aegis, had tried everything she could to save the realm and after that she stepped down as promised for free elections. Her successor was the known infiltrator, Si Ju Jarugi Petterson, who should prove to be a great Drachenwaldian king despite the circumstances.

Preparation

On the 15th of December in the year 2005 Si Ju Jarugi sent a letter to all Drachenwaldian nobles.

Letter from Si Ju Jarugi Petterson
Message sent to Drachenwald
Do we have any progress about moving the capital back to Nazia?
Si Ju Jarugi Petterson (King of Drachenwald)

The answer came from a Cagilan prison.

Letter from Nemethos Saladi'ilm
Message sent to Drachenwald
Greetings all,

I was on my way to Nazia with the whole department of military affairs and all our papers saved from the fall of Tarasac. But unfortunately I was captured in Alaise and am now in a Cagilan prison. I will see if it is possible to get out of here.

In the mean time we all need to work on restoring our regions and moving the officials and offices to the temporarily capital.

Yours,

Sir Nemethos
Nemethos Saladi'ilm (High Marshal of Drachenwald)

Nemethos Saladi'ilm was the High Marshal of our realm and as a general he understood that the debates would not save Drachenwald. He managed to smuggle the military department out of Tarasac, which was filled with enemy armies, but when back in our mountains, he was caught by the invaders.

Risfou's Action

He did, however, not fail! For this action inspired Risfou, the humble writer. He sent a letter to his colleagues in the council.

Letter from Risfou Rigou
Message sent to Strategic Council
Friends,

Today lord Nemethos had been captured while he tried to move the military department.

Time for talking is over, it is time to take action. If the departments do not come to Nazia by themselves, we will bring them up here.

I ask permission to take charge in this action. My plan will be to set up a smugglers chain via Nazgorn-Galadia and to point some troopleaders, including Lucela, to smuggle all important paperwork out of Tarasac.

Besides that we need to find out what happened with the military department, moved by Nemethos.

for Drachenwald,
Risfou Rigou (Unknown)
Letter from Risfou Rigou
Message sent to Strategic Council
We need to find out what happened with the military department, moved by Nemethos.
Risfou Rigou (Unknown)

At first this caused confusion.

Letter from Envirgar Perfect II
Message sent to Unknown
As long as Nemethos is in this realm, he should remain our General.
Envirgar Perfect II (Lord)
Letter from Risfou Rigou

Lord Envirgar, I was not talking about the army, but about the moving of the capital. Lord Nemethos has been imprisoned and we have been waiting far too long.

So I am not asking to be appointed general, just for permission to give orders in the name of our king and council.

It does not even have to be me, just someone.

With your permission I will reveal my plan,

We will appoint troopleaders to help Lucela gathering all our departments and paperwork in Tarasac.

In order to succeed the papers have to be smuggled out of Tarasac and also the officials will need to get out of there without the enemy troops noticing. Therefor we either need someone knowing secret passages, or money to get help from locals.

We need troopleaders to guide the departments, and in order to make this moving as fast as possible, we need three. This is because we take the save Tarasac-Nazgorn-Galadia-Nazia route.

But since the guiders must move as fast as possible, we also need troopleaders to watch the departments, when they wait in Nazgorn or Galadia, when the next guider has not come back yet from his previous trip.

In the end we need someone in Nazgorn to receive the departments. I saw Gilead was already preparing the old government building and I suggest him to do that.

This is my plan and if all goes well, Nazia will be our capital soon again.

Risfou, Pick your guards!

You have already nominated Lucela, pick another.

We cant trust CE to just hand us the documents, hopefully, Lucela left them in a hidden place, since you were last Ruler.

Lucela, I hope you can help Risfou find these documents.

Warriors of Drachenwald,

Nemethos took action and is therefor imprisoned. Let us bring him honor and fulfill his plan: if the departments do not come to Nazia, we will bring them to there!

Of course we can't risk CE finding out, so it has to be done unnoticed and quickly. In short the plan will be to get them one by one out of Tarasac and guide them via the Tarasac-Nazgorn-Galadia-Nazia path, which should be save.

PART 1 - Tarasac: LUCELA will be helped with gathering the departments and paperwork, which must be smuggled out of the city - unnoticed.

VINNIE and SILVER: You will help Lucela. Listen very careful to her orders and if necessary give your life for her, since she knows where to find the hidden documents.

You both should also be known with all hidden passages in and around Tarasac, therefor it will be your job to smuggle the paperwork and guide the department officials unnoticed out of Tarasac.

PART 2 - GUIDERS: We need three guiders. These men will travel between to posts and make sure the department officails and paperworks arrive safely.

PENNY: You will be the guider between Tarasac and Nazgorn.

ARCADIA: You will be the guider between Nazgorn and Galadia.

KRATOR: You will be the guider between Galadia and Nazia.

PART 3 - WATCHERS: We need two watcher, one in Nazgorn and one in Galadia. Their job is to make sure that when a guider delivers a group, the group can stay safely at their post, until the next guider comes to get them.

BEN'S: You will be the watcher at Nazgorn.

I, RISFOU, will be the watcher at Galadia.

PART 4 - NAZIA: GILEAD will welcome the departments and prepare spaces for them.

The longer we wait, the more dangerous it will become since CE captured Nemethos while he was moving the military department. We still don't know what happened with the department.

Also, because the posts in Galadia and Nazgorn must be kept secret, secret information will follow for those who will accept the mission.

PENNY, ARCADIA, KRATOR, BEN'S this will be especially meant for you, so confirm.

Lady Lucela,

I have no doubt that you will accept the mission. But before you set of for Tarasac, I first need you to do the following thing.

Find a barkeeper, who you can totally trust and also a place which is a save hide out for our travelers. Show the place to the barkeeper and tell him the following things:

If someone comes to him, the following conversation has to take place:

STRANGER: Do you serve Talerium beers?

BARKEEPER: I do, but I suggest you to take the Drachenwaldian.

STRANGER: If you accept Drachenwaldian gold.

BARKEEPER: How many do you want?

STRANGER: Give me 6.

If this conversation happens, he has to bring the stranger to the secret place. Also tell him that he must only go with that stranger, for a codeword is needed.

If you can't find a barkeeper, warn me, please.

Thank you for your confirmation.

You should move now and remember the following things:

Go to a barkeeper in Nazgorn with whom you can have the following conversation:

YOU: Do you serve Talerium beers?

BARKEEPER: I do, but I suggest you to take Drachenwaldian.

YOU: If you accept Drachenwaldian gold.

BARKEEPER: How many do you want?

YOU: Give me 6.

If this happens, he will guide you to the secret post. There you will have the following orders:

Stay there and make sure no one entering the place without saying the password will either not know that there is something going on or be able to tell something is going on.

PASSWORD: Just escaped.

I thank you for your willingness to serve and remind you that nothing may leak out.

Traveling

These are collected stories told about the warriors of Drachenwald trying to save their realm.

After several hours of walking through small villages and sparse orchards, the man came to the border of Alaise. Across the road lay a short wooden barrier, painted with the seal of The Cagilan Empire. Slowly approaching the border, the man, with some exertion, climbed over the barrier, and began to continue walking, only to find his way blocked by the a Cagilan border guard.

“Stop! Identify yourself, in the name of the Empire!” The guard’s epaulets identified him as a Lieutenant, fresh from whatever academy trained Cagil’s border militia. The hooded man said nothing, and began walking once again.

“I will not ask again!” the guard purposefully moved his hand to his sword.

Quickly, the man threw off his cloak. Revealed beneath were cloths of a noble, and, hanging at the man’s belt, a long rapier. In one smooth motion, the man drew the rapier, and pointed it at the ground.

The guard practically fainted. “How is it that you go from being the Dictator of an enemy to a single man carrying forms and papers?”

Gilead said nothing for a second, then replied, “Well, it is a long story; allow me to sit down for a minute, and I shall tell you my tale; the tale of the Battle of Tarasac, and the fall of Gilead Occam."

“Since then, we have had, by the Dragon, at least 3 revolutions in hardly a week. I now serve as the Royal Treasurer, as we are now ruled by Divine Right.

For many years, the seat of Drachenwald’s power rested in Nazia. We have long since converted our old governmental buildings into museums and shrines to The Dragon. But with a little ingenuity, and our old records, we will reactivate them. We will return to our mountains, and start anew.”

Gilead knew he had tarried too long. Without another word, Gilead Occam stood up, and continued walking into Drachenwald lands, carrying with him the forms and record they needed to reform their government on its historic throne. The guard made no move to stop him.

Risfou and his two scouts are exhausting their horses on the road towards Galadia, as they see another rider approaching.

They slow down their horses and slowly draw their swords. When the other rider sees them, he also stops and from a distance he shouts: "Lord Risfou?" "Yes!" "I bring you some messages." Risfou rides towards the messenger and takes a letter from Arcadia. After reading it, he quickly writes a message with secret orders and hands it out to the messenger. "Is there more?" The messenger hands out a short letter from Penny, which is again followed by the writing of orders. "Anything else?" Risfou asks. "Yes, rumors say lady Lucela and lord Silver have been captured." Risfou thinks for a moment. "Has Olan returned from Eaglin?" "I heard so." "Is he without a unit?" "I'm not sure, but I suppose he is." "Maybe he is willing to replace Silver, but Lucela will be a bigger problem." Risfou thinks again. "There must be an elder one in Nazia, I will ask Gilead to replace Lucela until she comes back." He looks up to the messenger. "That was it?" The messenger responds with a smile and says: "Greed wondered why he was left out." Risfou laughs and answers: "Tell him we need all soldiers to defend, I hope he still has some."

The messenger nods and leaves quickly. Risfou writes a few other messages, send his scouts away with them and continues his travel towards Galadia.

Yes Risfou, I will accept the task that you have put before me. And I will carry it out, if so be on the cost of my own life.

Little have I done since I came to these mountains to be trusted with such a task. Yet as I said, I will accept and do my best to compelte the task. Maybe not with the same motivation as most of you have, I have been here a far to short time to feel the way some of you do, but with Strong motivation none the less.

As you may or may not know I and Robin came here from the north about one and a half month ago with a small band of close friends, 14 in numbers to be exact. Today only Robin and I are alive as the others have fallen to the swords, arrows and spears of soldiers who came from the lands were Robin, my friends and I were all born.

This, ladies and gentlemen of Drachenwald, is where I get My motivation from, I will do whatever it takes to avenge their deaths.

Robin and I will go to Nazgorn and wait for the groups to arrive and make sure they reach Risfou in Galadia.

You may not have been touched by the Dragon, yet, in the way most of us have been. But the words you spoke are words of a true Drachenwaldian.

Therefor I have no doubt you and Robin will do everything to make sure the groups and papers arrive savely, if necessary by giving your own life. I promise you that the sacrifise of your close friends will not be in fain.

This is what you must do:

First you go to Galadia, where I will show you which way to take to my post. Then you travel to Nazgorn and rendez-vous with Ben's.

GALADIA: Go to my father. He is a rich trader, known as Rigou. The following conversation must take place:

YOU: Hello, I am a friend of Risfou.

FATHER: Welcome, what can I do for you?

YOU: I wanted to borrow some money.

FATHER: How much?

YOU: 127 gold.

He will then show you my secret hideout. To enter you must knnow the password, for I will make sure the place will remain a secret.

PASSWORD: Almost there.

May you guide well and the Dragon guide you,

Lord Penny,

I thank you for your willingness to join in this operation.

This is how you have to work:

STEP 1: Move to Nazgorn and find a barkeeper with whom you can have the following conversation:

YOU: Do you serve Talerium beers?

BARKEEPER: I do, but I suggest you to take Drachenwaldian.

YOU: If you accept Drachenwaldian gold.

BARKEEPER: How many do you want?

YOU: Give me 6.

If this happens, he will guide you to a secret place, which is the post of Ben's. Ben's has orders to take care of everyone not knowing the password. so remember it very well.

PASSWORD: Just escaped.

STEP 2: Rendez-vous with our men in Tarasac.

When you enter Tarasac from Nazgorn, go to the first bar on you right. At the entrance you will meet a man. Make sure the following conversation happens:

YOU: I'm looking for fish.

MAN: My nephew Gilead is a fisher.

YOU: Good, bring me to him.

Gilead will lead the smuggling out of Tarasac. He will choose a place outside Tarasac where he and his men will smuggle the paperwork and officials to.

STEP 3: Everytime he delivers officials or documents, travel with them to the post in Nazgorn. After you delivered them at Ben's, you go back to your post in Tarasac.

Remember that there will be also a password for the post in Tarasac. This will be only known by you, Gilead and his men.

You have to protect the officials and the paperwork with your life!

may the Dragon be with you,

I want the following men to do the Tarasac mission:

GILEAD, OLAN and VINNIE.

Gilead will be in charge and I suggest him and Olan to change their class to Infiltrator, for it might make the change smaller that they will be captured. Vinnie just has to do his very best not to be seen.

I ask Olan and Vinnie to confirm.

Lord Gilead,

Because you have been our latest dictator, I hoped you would be able to replace Lucela for the time being. It is of the highest importancy that you won't be captured. Therefor I will give the ones that have to meet you the following orders:

When approaching from Nazgorn, they have to go to the first bar at their right in Tarasac.

When approaching from Sauvia the first at their left.

There a man has to wait at the entrance and the following conversation should take place:

OUR MAN: I'm looking for fish.

YOUR MAN: My nephew Gilead is a fisher.

OUR MAN: Good, bring me to him.

The man has to bring them to you. You also have to find a place outside the city, to where the departments will be smuggled and from where Penny will guide them to Nazgorn.

This place needs passwords, so that in the night, everyone can be sure that the right people are there. These passwords are to be made by you and to be only known by those involved with Tarasac.

May you lead as well as you did before,

Lord Ben's,

I have heard rumors that lady Lucela has been captured. Since I did not receive a confirmation from here that she found a barkeeper and a place. I ask you to do that.

Try to find some sort of cave or something, where a group of department officials can go to, without being seen by to many men.

Next choose a barkeeper known as an honost men in the region. Tell him what conversation he must have and where to lead the right people.

Money should not be a to great issue.

It is a dreary morning as I depart my family’s house in Nazia. The great sun is shrouded by many clouds and there is a wisp of rain in the air. All I can think about is my task and seeing it through. A plan is in motion which will bring the government back to my homeland, back to Nazia. As I set off towards Galadia, I notice that the sun begins to break through the many clouds in its way. I sliver of light lands on my face, I stop, and I can feel it’s warmth through my whole body.

Perhaps things won’t end as badly as I feared. I let my thoughts wander over the events of the past week and I ask myself how I got here. There is no answer, and I know I can only look to the future and find solace there.

The spirit of the Dragon flows in me, giving me strength and the weariness that has been creeping over me like a dark veil begins to wane. We each have a part to play in this, and when the people of Drachenwald play in harmony, the music that is brought forth makes the mountains tremble.

The sun is setting as I approach Galadia and my resolve is stronger then ever; I will see the departments and paperwork safely to Nazia. In this task I cannot fail, and I mean not to.

"Maybe we should stop and rest for a while," Robin asks, "even if it looks much the same we are no longer in Drachenwald and could easy get lost if we are not on the alert."

"You are right Robin," Arcadia replies with a tired voice, "we will stop as soon as we find a good place were we can make a fire."

Through all the battles and rebellions Drachenwald has gone throw it, it is still here. its because of so many troopleaders that have sacrificed their personal well being for something larger. from Risfou to Jacket, Drachenwald has shown how strong it is, by lasting this long. it may not be the largest realm, but it has some of the most dedicated troopleaders on the continent. we have come so far how could we give up now. When arriving at his parental home, Risfou's parents are waiting with a lot of letters from Drachenwald. Risfou does not read them immediately, however, but first explains to his parents that he needs them for an operation to move the capital of Drachenwald back to Nazia. He also tells them that it needs to be kept a secret, since CE might not be willing to cooperate.

When his parents agree in helping him, Risfou explains the whole plan and asks his father to come with him. On fresh horses they move about three miles west, where Risfou shows his father a well hidden cave. This will be my post, since it would be easily noticed when we move in and out of our house.

Coming back there are already visitors from Drachenwald. Risfou recognizes Krator and Vinnie and guesses that the other two must be Arcadia and Robin. They all confirm and are shown the cave by Risfou's father, while Risfou reads the letters and writes a quick letter. About the time they come back, Risfou is done and likewise is a tasty dinner.

I am weary, not in the heart or soul, but the body. The eleven hour trip to Galadia was draining. Soon after I arrive, I met up with the honorable Risfou and his parents. They offer a place to sleep and a hearty meal. I thank them for their generosity; it could not have come at a better time. I was not surprised when Risfou took his leave, I could tell he was exhausted by the dark circles around his eyes and I knew he had just traveled nine hours. Risfou’s parents and I talk at length about the movement of the government to Nazia and about the strength and will of our people. After, we retire to bed. Si Ju Jarugi Petterson (King of Drachenwald)

He also pronounced the building of a monument to the Dragon.

Problems

Discussions followed and people were wondering whether we could move our capital. Many other possibilities were overlooked. They who took position, like Ben’s, asked whether they should come home or not. But there were no clear answers.

In the end the people of Drachenwald came to understand that the Dragon’s blessing was not on their action. We had failed the Dragon. For now we were not pure enough yet to rule the mountains in It’s place.

Gilead,

I read you managed to get some important paperwork out of Tarasac and brought it to Alaise. You did very well, but I choose to continue our Nazgorn-Galadia plan, since Nemethos had been captured in Sauvia.

But I do agree that we have to get them to Nazia as well. Even more, we have still to find out what happened to the military department, which was travelling with Nemethos, as well as the paperworks.

I heard Greed is without a unit, tell him where you hid your papers, so that he can get them towards Nazia.

I have asked Penny for being a guider, I guess he is now needed in Alaise, therefor I will seek for a replacement, so that Penny can go home.

Penny,

Thanks anyway and congratulations with your post.
