Lasop
The small city of Lasop has been the axle upon which the fortunes of the three realms of Ethiala, Arcaea and Greater Aenilia have ridden on. Starting with it's rule under Keffer Leonidas of Ethiala and the subsequent rebellions against him, the city defected to Arcaea, which started one of the largest wars in the history of the north within an already strained political atmosphere. Most famous of the battles fought on her walls was the Siege of Lasop, where the Arcaean army held strong against a botched assault by the combined forces of Lasanar, Ethiala and Cathay.
After a brief period as capital of Kamador, a realm formed by the secession of Duke Dieter from Ethiala, the city fell under the rule of Greater Aenilia who claimed they were "bringing an end to the chaos that had ravaged Lasop". Due to the bungling of politics between Ethiala, Greater Aenilia, and King Riar-Dynrode of Arcaea, the nobles of Arcaea felt betrayed by their allies of circumstance to the west and seething resentment was held against the "Aenilian Intervention".
The city was reclaimed by Arcaea through the subversive efforts of the outlaw Eversio Raiva, son of Helios, and was condoned by King Jenred Bedwyr because of the sneak attack upon Remton by the Aenilians, who sought to end the conflict with Arcaea before it had begun.
