Ulric Family/Edward Ulric

Beginnings

First began his life as a Noble on November 17th, 2016. He joined the Empire of Greater Xavax on the East Continent during a time of great strife. From the first days of being raised, he had to travel and do battle with the powerful enemies of the north, the Vix Tiramora. Greater Xavax had been pitted against 5 different forces: The Vix Tiramora, Perleone, Perdan, and the bandit forces of Alara and Minas Nova. The Xavax were doing all they could to hold the line against the mass of forces arrayed against them. Truly, Xavax epitomized their standard phrase: Xavax Endures.

Northern Campaign

In Leibo, numerous great battles took place when large forces from the Vix Tiramora and their allies, attacked Leibo while the Greater Xavax had just wrested it under their control. Edward led his men into the fray to many a Xavaxian victory. Later, Edward was raised to Vice Marshal in a newly created army, the Flames of Xavax, alongside his close friend, Eoghan Ui Briuin, who had been made the Marshal.

Over time, despite many victories in favor of Greater Xavax, the war began to turn against the immovable Xavax. Uthred the Unstoppable had been slain on the fields of battle at Leibo, and Edward had witnessed a man become a legend. Despite Uthred's sacrifice, Leibo was lost, regained, and lost again. First falling into Vix hands, then to the peasantry, and finally into the allies of Xavax and the Vix Tiramora, Caligus. Leibo had been an important battlefield for both sides of the war, due to its proximity to Isadril, the treasury of the Xavax. With Caligus in control, and an order from the Caligan King that the Vix were not allowed to move through Caligan territory, the Northern campaign all but ground to a halt.

Western Campaign

With Leibo safely in the hands of Caligus, Edward and the Flames were instructed to focus their efforts to the west, against the bandit scum of Alara.
