| Oligarch Flies the Fontan Banner

| The take over of the city of Oligarch suceeded yesterday, with Count Sulliven Koga being appointed it's first Duke under Fontan rule. Duke Koga gave a rousing speech to his new peoples, which was written down and pass on to the rest of the realm. Here it is in its entierty:
Today, I take on the Dukeship of Oligarch city as it is the will of the realm in the referendum conducted before the city was taken.
We have come a long way in this way, not just me, but for Fontan too. I remember wars in the past, battles passed that would cultivate and groom our skills and abilities to what it is today.
After 3 months of planning, Fontan finally flies its banner high atop the walls of this badly suffered city. I'm sure now the elves knows, that their initial treachery of not staying neutral and attacking fontan was bad to begin with. They lose their honor and trust just for some short military advantage at that time and as such, have cause great anger in Fontaneses' hearts.
Now I hope that those in Sirion would come to their senses and act honorably like Duke Doc who in my eyes, is honorable throughout this war and fine a peaceful end to this war. Otherwise, we will continue to do what we must to ensure Fontan's existence and independence.
Free people of Oligarch! Today, a new era have started! Under Fontan's banner, this city will grow and prosper like never before. Worry no more for you are in safe hands. Freedom! Taste this words!

| To Oligarch!

| Oligarch, the fair city one the capital of the destroyed realm which shared its name. Since the beggining of the war Fontan has look to the day that we might add here to our own realm. Duke Doc kept the city stocked with militia, making it in our best interests to stay away, but with Sirions armies kept at bay by the OoT in Avamar, and OR's armies in shambles the time had come. The Lions and the Democratic Guard recruited heavily, swelling their ranks with fine infantry, and they moved on the city. The battle was long and close, but the 25000 CS of our that assaulted the high walls of Oligarch proved to be just enough to defeat its 16000 CS of Militia. After a second battle a hostile take over was initiated. Soon the great and historic city of Oligarch will fly the banner of Fontan.

| The Fontan military has been quite busy recently. The OoT has been stationed in Avamar, blocking Sirion from taking the city back. The Lions have been stationed in Oberndorf trying to bring the region well under our control. The rest of the army marched into Ashforth, and sacked the city for the fourth time this war. They then continued north further into OR's territories.

| New Lord for Braga

| With Lord Ricard stepping down from his old post as lord to become an Infiltraiter the region of Braga was in need of a new lord. The votes were counted today, and it was announced that Sir Ilkar Smallwood will be Braga's next lord. Sir Ilkar is the son of Lord Pepe, a former lord of Braga himself, who died a hero fighting in Ashforth. We wish Lord Ilkar the best of luck in his new post.

| TO Attempt in Oberndorf Stopped

| After taking Tabost, OR forces moved into Oberndorf and began a TO. General Basilius lead a mixed group of knights from the Lions and Fontan Strike Regiment to crush the OR forces there. It is good to see that there is still some fight left in our enemy, who had been confined to their capital for some time.

| Kazakh Duchy Secedes

| In a long planned move today, Sir Korkut Kalkandelen, Duke of Kazakh seceded from Fontan to form the Sultanate of Asena. Gadlock followed in the session. The Sultanate was planned out about a month ago, after Fontanese troop leader voted that the war should end in the total destruction of Old Rancagua. Since Fontan could not absorb all of OR's regions, it was decided that Fontan would form a new realm that would take most of OR's lands. Sir Korkut, now king of the Sultanate, wishes that it will stay a close friend and ally of Fontan.

| Battle in Avamar

| There was a large battle in Avamar today, 19,000 CS of Fontan vs 11,000 CS of Sirion. Sirion's troops were never even given the chance to try and scale the walls as quite a few Fontanese troops climbed down and engaged the Sironites on the field. The battle did not last too long as our troops made short work of them. Esoj Sunrage a knight of Troyes was seriously wounded.

| King Nightmare of Perdan announced his resignation after the tournament in Partora. News has reached us today that Sir Sangue has been elected Perdan's new king. We congratulate him on his victory.

| The tournamenet held by Perdan in the city of Partora ended today. 154 troop leaders from 10 realms fought and drank. There was a swordfighting and a jousting contest.
Bellonngian Sinweaver of Caligus won the swordfighting tournament (Hanz Mueller (Knight of Al Arab, Ibladesh) came second place).
The jousting contest was won by Screndt Faracan, Duke of Aix (Second place: Sinted Dacara, Duke of Ibladesh).

| War in the South Over!

| After months of fighting it was revealed today in a letter from the Pontifex of Ibladesh Sir Terminus Recena to our Chancellor Rogal Dorn Primarchs that the fighting between Ibladesh, Perdan, Caligus, and Itorunt is now over. Though Itorunt still fights Tuchanon V and Perdan still fights Ubent. Ubent only has one region left, and will soon crumble to Perdan shold they wish to destroy her. Tuchanon V has three regions left, and it is unknown if Itorunt will continue fighting her alone, or if Caligus and Perdan will join in. Will the children of Tucha once again be without a home? Only time will tell.
