Talk:Order of the Doughnuts/Colonies

Eww... OT doughnuts? --The1exile 20:25, 4 July 2006 (CEST)

Hey, I don't critique the "doughnut preferences", I just record 'em. --Calvin November 05:53, 5 July 2006 (CEST)
Fair enough. someone nicked mine though. Imitation being the sincerest form of flattery, or maybe I just have good taste? --The1exile 14:51, 7 July 2006 (CEST)

To assist with in-game linking to this page, I've created a redirect at Order-of-the-Doughnuts/Colonies that points here. Using _'s (underscores, as used in the wiki page URL) in the in-game messaging system, formats the surrounding text as underlined. -'s (dashes) allow the Order-of-the-Doughnuts/Colonies syntax to work just fine (and I thought it easier than moving the whole wiki page). Interesting note: Using the pipe syntax, as in Order of the Doughnuts, doesn't work as one might assume. Sadly, it renders as "Order-of-the-Doughnuts/Colonies|Order of the Doughnuts" in-game and links to an error page complaining about a poorly formatted page title. But, using simply Order-of-the-Doughnuts/Colonies works dandy. --Calvin November 06:12, 11 July 2006 (CEST)

You can solve the problem by replacing the underscores with spaces. E.g. http://wiki.battlemaster.org/index.php/Order of the Doughnuts/Colonies.
However, doing this inside the wiki doesn't work (but you wouldn't need it to as you can just use the exernal link insetad). --The1exile 14:39, 11 July 2006 (CEST)
Yeah, I discovered that (using spaces) minutes after creating the redirect. Oh well. --Calvin November 16:34, 11 July 2006 (CEST)

inalienable rights joke

I don't like the joke on the inalienable rights one bit. I love to laugh in BM, but these are something I'd rather be taken very seriously by everyone. --Tom 20:41, 13 May 2007 (CEST)

Gotcha. For what it's worth, I do take the inalienable rights very seriously and do my best to not tread even near them. The imitation included here is not intended slanderous (of the original), but as a form of flattery. If it confuses or offends, I'll gladly remove from here and ask that The1exile remove it from Order of the Doughnuts/East Continent as well. --Calvin November t/c on 03:43, 14 May 2007 (CEST)
Removed it from the guild page and my user page. --The1exile 13:42, 14 May 2007 (CEST)

Errant <p> tag

It's a hack, but it's hid now. Seems like one of those things that the preview says is OK but doesn't render well. Unsure what the actual problem is, though. --The1exile 21:16, 5 December 2007 (CET)

Ah, Indirik fixed it. Is there a need for all of the tags, though? --The1exile 21:21, 5 December 2007 (CET)
Nah, probably not. It does make line breaks work a bit more intuitively. --Calvin November t/c on 00:49, 17 March 2008 (CET)
