Good Day, About the graph, i think you should add alliance line between Tara & Carelia, Tara has been quite active helping Carelia, atleast in past... not sure if i have seen them participating lately. Mayby they are just helping in defence? But either way, they are allied with Carelia.

Greetings!

Thank you for the input! With regards to the graph, I was operating off of the Diplomatic Relations chart...which, upon looking at now, I realize was woefully done with regards to Tara. I'm not sure if there was an update or what, but I don't remember seeing so many Alliances...

...in any case, it was already intentionally incorrect (I purposefully left out Lyonesse, for example), with the intention of issuing an updated version in next month's issue. I'll be sure to incorporate a more solid representation of Tara's diplomatic stances in next month's issue. Thank you again!

- Tim

I just love to see newspaper running at Atamara! These should have some sort of "like" buttons or view count, so you would know that these are readed :) Gotta share it in game too, maybby one of Darkans inspires to continue our newspaper... i just know its lot of work :)

War in the south...

Re: "What might offer some confusion is the situation between Suville, Caergoth, and Carelia. While Caergoth and Carelia do not have an alliance with Darka, they have taken advantage of Suville's war with Darka to launch a joint attack against the former's regions."

I'm not sure if this is deliberately incorrect, or an honest mistake. The war in the south started when Suville declared war on Carelia. Essentially, Suville claimed that Carelian nobles who follow the "Da Goat" religion were attacking Suville. Carelia refused to accede to Suville's demands that Carelia do something to stop it, so Suville declared war on Carelia. Tara and Caergoth decided to support Carelia, and declared war on Suville. --Indirik (talk), Editor (talk) 18:18, 22 January 2014 (CET)

Then again, writer is from far north and news he see and hear, are not so accurate. He might have to assume things from simple island wide notes, or tidbits of information what ruler tells to the realm.

It's an honest mistake, a result of both the factors Jaune just laid out. Raoul doesn't drop the Ruler updates on us very often (which is perfectly fine) and I'm forced to rely on the Diplomatic charts, the realm-wide updates, etc. in order to try and piece together the story. I've honestly only this past month begun to reach out to people outside Minas Leon for statements and clarifications, so there's definitely a lot of guesswork in the first four issues. The part you called out in particular was a definite assumption on my part, so I'll own up to its incorrectness, making it TWO retractions for next month, woot!

Sidenote - Really enjoyed your work on the News Guide. It gave me a lot of tips/advice that came in handy when setting up The Roar. --Streatim (talk) 08:50, 26 January 2014 (CET)
