Origin
Childhood
Toci was born to a commoner woman in Kalmar and never knew her father. From a young age, her precociousness was noted by her elders and she was trained to be an "honest courtesan."
After the cataclysm killed her mother, Toci moved in with her aunt, uncle, and cousins.
Leaving Alexandria
Tired of the wanton violence against commoners, Toci left Alexandria began a life of adventure, hoping to save enough gold to get her cousins, aunt, and uncle out of Kalmar. She joined the realm of Eponllyn.
There, she quickly entered the services of Gislin Luitolf. He provided her with weapons and sent her to kill an alpha monster. On her journey, she found the Bloody Plate Mail of Avamar, which she sold to Erik Aginharu, Warmaster of Yssrgard.
Though she was successful, Toci was severaly wounded and nearly lost her life. Gislin's staff nursed her back to health, though she will forever walk with a slight limp. She accepted a position working in the stables.
Pissing Off Everyone
As war broke out between Eponllyn and the alliance of Caligus and Perdan, Toci recovered the Bloody Plate Mail of Avamar once again. Erik Aginharu had left Yssrgard and was a knight of Caligus, and she meant to return it to him free of charge.
Meanwhile, tensions in the Adventurer's Guild were boiling over. Commoners were being captured, which prompted Patriarch Pasquale of Caligus to promise safety to all adventurers regardless of origin. Regardless, when Toci went to meet Erik in Domus, she was promptly captured by guards.
From prison, Toci wrote a scathing letter to the Adventurer's Guild about her predicament, believing she would be executed in the morning and thinking she had nothing left to lose. To her surprise, she was released—but a chain of events was already set off in the Guild.
Angry nobles condemned Toci's irreverence. Rather than backdown, Toci fought back. What followed was a weeks-long battle of wits in the Guild, which resulted in several nobles calling for her to be beaten or killed.
In the end, they were not successful.
Rise to Nobility
While in hiding from the angry nobles, Toci performed tasks for several Eponllyn nobles. Her accomplishments encouraged them to help her research her lineage, and she discovered her father was the late pirate lord Oscar Osoro.
Toci claimed her noble status as a lady of Eponllyn.
