The Habsburg family is a shaky lot, some rise to power and prominence rather quickly while others tend to falter and fall. Suicide is not unheard of and is often times proffered to dishonouring the family. Although much history of this family has been forgotten, four recent members histories are well recorded, two of which ended quite shamefully; Frederick Von Habsburg, Rudolf Habsburg, Hartmann Habsburg, Maerwynn Habsburg, and Maerwynn Habsburg II.

Lost Family History

The Habsburg family history is longer than one might expect but much of it has been lost due to the family's disappearance from the public eye for some time and the lack of a dedicated historian. Their first family estate was in Barad Lacirith in Eston and two knights grew up to serve in the war against the Ash Sea Island, The Viking Wars, and the brief war with Minas Ithil. Through searches of historical records it has been discovered that one of these knights was Sir Rudolf Habsburg, a dedicated mentor. It is believed that the other was known as Sir Maximilian Habsburg, and It is rumored that he grew to great prominence and became the Banker of Eston. One member of the family, Ladislav traveled to dwilight to help the fledgling realm of the Grand Duchy of Fissoa. He served for a time as the lord of Nuas before having a quarrel with the general which ended in heated words and crossed blades. afterwards he was asked to leave the realm and was seen boarding a ship headed east. Although it is known that other members of this family existed, their names and deeds of hence been forgotten.

Reemergence

It is believed that after his time as a Banker in Eston, Maximilian chose to settle down in the region of Grazne on the island of Dwilight. After the emergence of the realm of Caerwyn, Sir Frederick Von Habsburg, a rather young man, decided it was time to again venture out from his forefathers estate.
