Victory and Defeat and Nutrality

Caligus faced a very pleasing victory, then two very dreadful defeats today. We first tasted a large victory on the battlefield of Supra. 5k vs. 7k defender victory. I was wounded in this battle along with my queen and many fellow nobles. Then when the sun set, we felt the terrible feeling of defeat in Aurues and Supra causing a stop of our TO and our army shattered once again.

Also, one of our new interns has pulled out. He will be in the shadows soon and will no longer have time for the CC. Also, the CC had ended all hostilites and withdrawn from the OCPAU and the IJARG newspaper aggreement. This move was made by myself so that I may bring news, not gossip to the dedicated readers of the Caligan Courier. But that doesnt mean the gossip will entirely stop ;). The CC is also in the process of testing out better time tracking printing. --Talless

Loss of Tokat, Two New Interns and A Yssarian Newspaper?!

Firstly, I will cover the headline news. Yes my dedicated readers it is true. Caligus has lost its precious Tokat. But, we have the Yssarian Army cut off with our forces in Aureus, plus a TO that has been running quite smoothly as well. The men we have trapped include Eleran (King of Yssaria), Abishur (High Marshall of Yssaria) and Achilles (Royal Treasurer of Yssaria).

We also have two new Interns here at the CC! We would like to welcome Reona Stryfe and Solus GreatSword to the Caligan Courier Editing team. These two were selected by myself as well as Kamekaze. As Interns they do not yet posses the right to edit in the courier, but must firstly go through a stage of training before being acknowledged as a full editor. Look forward to seeing some of their work in the future.

Nextly, yes the rumors are true. Yssaria now has a newspaper! The editor of Yssarias new paper, the "Red Star Courier", somewhat thinks alike Alex of the Itorunt Informer in stealing formats. But instead of stealing our format as Alex did, he stole The Rampant Lions. (Fact not Rumor)

Lastly, in the more local news, a total of 1k CS of Caligus including myself smashed Prander (Royal) of Yssaria in Supra yesterday. His 40 man archer unit had no chance. Also, Akesh Temple was handed back to the Lighters yesterday. (Thats what I was told they were called I swear!) And the Twinblade Family (My Family) Made an investment in Domus causing production to soar 67% to 167%. As stated earlier, our army is rallied in Aureus with a TO running.--Talless

Victory in Sordidus, Defeat in Tokat

After the Yssarian Slaughter at Supra, the Caligan army marched on into my jurisdiction, Aestus. While the Caligan Army gathered in Aestus, the Yssarians gathered in two places, Tokat and Sordidus. The Caligan Army, reaching a record 11k CS set out to remove the infestation of Sordidus. Most of the Yssarians retreated to Tokat knowing they would meet the same fate as those in Supra had they stayed, and once again, the straggelers were slaughtered. After this the 11k CS of the Caligan army was spread out between Supra, Aestus, Sordidus, Domus and Aureus. After two turns of rallying, 10k CS marched upon Tokat. When the sun rose upon that day, many fell to the range 4 special forces of Yssaria which were backed by the Yssarian infanty, causing the fall of the Caligan Army. 10k CS vs. 12K CS Defender Vitory. The Caligan army stayed to fight it out another round, this time losing 6k to 8k. The Brutal TO of Tokat by Yssaria still stands.

In more local news, the Caligan Courier had selected 2 new interns! Grontar Styfe and Solus GreatSword. These two were hand picked by myself and Kamekaze. 1 day after his acceptance, Grontar fell to the Yssarian Special forces on the morning of the first battle in Tokat. May he rest in peace.--Talless

Yssarian Straglers Slaughtered in Supra!

In our movement to Supra yesterday, a battle occured at Sunrise. We took 19 casualties why Yssaria took a devestating 143. Yssaria has split thier army in two and currently have TO running in Tokat and Sordidus, it makes me laugh how they think they can actually succeed. Especially with the Caligan army rebuilt. How retarded of them...

In the more local news, A new TL from LoF joined us today. He says: "Light of Fountain is boring and their thinking of attacking Perdan. I like it better here." Now there is some juicy info! How curious. Also, the Caligan Courier gives its congrats to Medium and Cartor to their 600th days. WOW! Only 600 days to amount to anything.(jk) --Talless

ITORUNT CRUSHED IN ABADAN!

For some odd reason, Alex of the I.I. thinks im copying him. So allow me to not make him look like a liar and write an aricle like him:

In a resounding Caligan victory, Itorunt was shut out of Abadan today, by 1 noble! ONE NOBLE crushed Itorunt! And this battle is especially important because it was in Abadan. A Yssarian region! Becasuse of this one resounding victory we are winning the war. The CS's were both under 500 with Caligus coming out on top. HAHA Itorunt you suck!

Is that close enough? It sounds like the garbage we always seem to get from the Itorunt Informer. Let me ask some of the Nobles from Perdan. Perdan, did i get close to writing an article like Alex? Man do i feel special right now....--Talless

Our New High Marshall

OUR VERY OWN KAMEKAZE LUMBERJACK IS THE NEW HIGH MARSHALL OF CALIGUS! CONGRATULATIONS! It is a mystery as to if he will have anytime for the CC, but ill take most of the control again. Again. Congratulations Kamekaze! May you do us all proud! --Talless

doombringer Resigns! (and some other stuff)

Just moments ago, High Marshall doombringer relented his title and the sword Paragon. The stress of being High Marshall and the responsibility it came with was just too much for the new High Marshall. He wishes sleep to return to him, and quite frankly, we cant blame him. It is a very tough job. He made us proud, and in the short time of his empowerment, Caligus has embraced victory on the fronts of Winkamus, Abadan and Supra. Thank you doombringer! You served us well!

In other news, The Mines of Isidril fell to the Ibbys today. They official surrendered as the sun set on the 8th. But not to worry, the army of Perdan should be coming to rid it of its filth that worship the "gods" Backstabber and Thief.

In more local news, we have successfully cleared Supra of the Yssarians that were infesting the region. Now if we could get a TO unit there before the swine regroup. I like it better when they're scattered :D.

Now for the domestic news, Aestus is now alcohol free. No more drunken idiots on the streets and no more beaten wives. Horraaaay! The baroness Talless (me) was givin three cheers before her departure to battle. Also, Cartors new furret attacked a debtor of Cartors. The man is currently in the hospital and investigations are underway. Some say Cartor "sicked" his furret upon the man, while others, as well as Cartor himself, claim it wasnt the little beast. So the end result shall be either Cartor and his Furret get fed to Fluffy, or the man who claims to have been attacked gets the same fate. Of course, with Cartor as the Judge, we are expecting a very fair trial. --Talless

Attack on Ubent

The last week has seen many attacks on Ubent. It started when the southern forces entered the Mines of Isadril and dipatching the small forces there started a take over. Later, leaving enough to continue the take over, the soldiers of the south moved northwards from the mines into Castle Ubent where doombringer (High Marshal) and Kamekaze (Marshal) were talking with leading members of the Ubentian military. Upon seeing the incoming enemies Kamekaze advised the High Marshal to head back while he would help defend the city. Doombringer remained behind showing the same resolve that Kamekaze had. The battle was lost as it was bound to be facing such a large force, leaving Kamekaze wounded and Doombringer inprisoned.

Another stroke of luck was that Perdan was already on its way to help Ubent liberate the mines. After a day of plundering in Ubent, the enemies saw the incoming Perdanese turned their eyes on the militia in Ar Mosul, fortunately, the militia managed to slaughter the invading forces who used archer opening formation, which, considering they have hardly any archers was quite idiotic. Meanwhile Perdan and Ubent reclaimed the castle and kicked out the southerners.

Further East, Yssaria was taking over Winkamus. Caligus moved out to stop this and we're happy to report that the battles in both Ar Mosul and Winkamus ended in victory for the SA. We are also happy to report that Kamekaze has recovered from his wounds and doombringer has escaped from prison (guards are easily bought) And were both on their way home when the battles took place. The only loose end yet to be tied is the mines. Though even if they are taken odds are Ubent will be able to retake their main source of income. --Kamekaze

Cartor and Vlad Reinstated, Kamekaze gets promoted and Glen resigns

High Marshal doombringer and Royal Treasurer Medium get themselves captured but are thankfully released in a prisoner exchange deal set up by Glen and Is Est. In Medium's absence Vlad regains his seat on all our gold. Later, Tramii also got captured allowing Cartor to be reinstated. Upon his appointment he named our very own Kamekaze as his Marshal.

Cartor and Kamekaze went out for drinks and Vlad came along later. By the end of the night, Cartor had to be carried home to face the wrath of his girlfriend Erica. During the course of the night, Baroness Talless was angered by the men's "uncourteous" behaviour and promptly ordered all alcohol in Aestus to be destroyed. Kamekaze immediately launched a smuggling program thanks to his contacts from when he himself was Baron of Aestus. Our prayers are with the brave men saving the sacred liquids from the purge of Talless. Full details of the night can be found in the special magazine found enclosed in this issue

Also we have a new judge!! Yes, Glen has resigned for a few months having secured a prisoner exchange programe. New reason to celebrate for Cartor however is still hammered from the previous evening.--Kamekaze
