Peasant Rebellion!

Those peasants have had enough of all the the Scandalous Actions of you East Island Ignobles! Now that the most democratic realm on the continent is about to be destroyed you've made them flip! Pitchforks are being sharpened across the entire continent I tell you! The farmers are gonna get revenge for all you high and mighty Nobles eating their entire Harvests week in week out - I can just see it now! Doc being whipped while he works in the Sirion Salt Mines! Undead/Monster Invasion

Well, i think the undead/monster invasion is very probable, because in Oligarch they speak form the "third appearing" and in Beluaterra the Second Invasion has just finished... Maybe the Third Invasion appears in East Island Shoenaemaeh 23 December 2005 13:14 (CET)

I seem to remember hearing about frogs being used in the first invasion... Well with the dead fish for Old Rancagua, the frogs have less things to eat their eggs, and the population should rise greatly. -- Eurtek

Volcano Eruption

Priests are making sacrifices to their deities, hearing the super natural events are about to unfold. Firstly a monster/undead invasion occurs, wiping out realms. Finally, the volcanoes exploded reforming the Island into a new map. Some cities/realms are scattered very far, and much more land rises up, bring in a new era of feritility and prosperity. -- Jeremy Van Veelen

IIRC, one effect from the first stages of a volcano is a rise in the acidity of the nearby water... which would cause dead fish -- Eurtek

A lot is pointing into this direction indeed. Dead fish, dark clouds, tsunami. Also poeple belive animals have an instict for this. This would explain the strange behavior of the animals. There is just one thing that troubles me. The air has an unfamiliar smell. I would think that at least some of the people would recognize the smell of sulfur (if I'm not mistaken that is the smell a volcano would produce). Tj December 24, 2005 19:14 (CET)

Mysterious Religious Jihad

A great calamity is about to befall the creatures known as 'Elves'. They have been creatures of pride and arrogance for too long and the gods are ANGRY with their behavior! Terrorist Attacks

Dan Raymond (Tom wants to bring in World Wide Events into Battlemaster. Terrorists will come and hide among the population and cause horrible deaths and lost gold. You can only hunt them down by police work and horrible results will happen in Republics. Riots will be caused until George Bush is removed from office. lol. Theocracies will be terrorized and tyrannies will be awarded.

Islandwide Domestic Upheaval

• This means the realms will be destroyed, making all the regions go rogue for brand new realms, right?
• Maybe, though my conception of it is that there are suddenly large amounts of monsters, bandits, unrest, peasent revolts, ect., and ensuring that regions don't go rogue suddenly becomes far more important than the current wars -- not that the wars would end, but trying to fight them with more than a small fraction of the realm's forces would mean that your other regions would be in danger of going rogue. In the political chaos, anyone who can quickly take advantage of the situation will prosper, and there will be dozens of rebellions and sucessions. 5 Year Anniversary

TOm will use the battlemaster map of the people who sent him the anniversary pictures. It will be a continent of 20 regions and 2 cities. People with bad pimple will be badland regions.

Hell Freezes Over

• The Entire continent, freezes over! All people and troops take regular health checks and die randomly due to hypothermier etc. The place would look like siberia or the antartic.

Tom vs. Espire

• Tom and Espire (Eric) finally decide to settle their differences - on East Island! Sirion Castle and Akesh Temple become the two Capital's for Tom and Espire's new realms. All other realms pick sides and a new order is introduced. Or, conversly, Tom and Espire make two new realms in Sirion Castle, Akesh Temple and then proceed to ally with each other and then attempt to wipe out all the other realms. (Tom/Eric's realms filled with people who left East Island in disgust of it's diplomacy. They come back to get revenge on everyone else!) West Continent!

East Continent Reset

With Avamar and Rancauga gone within a couple of weeks Tom isnt happy with East Continent, so her gonna start it all over, just like it was in the begining. Or he might reset it to where Akesh Temple is the Capital of the SA, making whatever realm that controls Akesh temple will be the main force of the SA and vice versa with Sirion Castle. New Realm(s)

The latest rumor to appear in Oligarch is "More prophets are appearing in Akesh Temple. They are speaking of "the rise of evil", or of "the third appearing" and other such nonsense." My guess is that Tom is going to create a new realm somewhere mid-continent. To what end, I'm not sure, but ending the NA vs. SA war in some way seems plausible. Think of this as Yssaria MkII, but with lots of RP around the creating, and OOC GM intervention to ensure that it developes as intended.

Plague!

A plague on all your houses! One-third of the noble AND commoner populations will be decimated by a mysterious, contagious disease.

Tsunami

This suspicious sudden lowering of sea levels makes me worry... along with the bad weather and dead fish....

Dragon Island

That small island off the coast with the volcano, (I think it's called Dragon Island) I'm guessing it's the cause of the darkness, and that something really interesting is about to happen. Now that I think about it we might see some land rising out of the sea followed by the founding of a third alliance of.... um, atlantians or something. Dragon Island actually contains Dragons

... who have now awakened and are going to ravage the realms. The alliances are going to have to send tens of thousands of CS against single monsters now, rather than each other. Dragon Cultists will aid the monsters.
