Once one of the youngest of the House when he started his military career, Malice has since become an elder of the Osha family after the deaths of two of his three brothers. Both of the deaths affected Malice deeply at the time, but he has since come to terms with their loss. The story of Malice begins at the age of 16 when Malice upped and left the Colonies to find a more exciting place to live his life. His search quickly ended when he landed in the port City of Ash'rily in the Ash Sea Islands mere weeks after first leaving his homeland. Since then he has never looked back.
In the first couple of years of service to the fair island realm, Malice kept a relatively low profile. Content just to serve ASI in any capacity his superiors desired. This did not last long however, and soon Malice began grabbing regular scout reports of enemy lands while on campaign in an attempt to take a more active role in the realm. Although these in themselves were not exactly impressive, the elaborate and detailed description of key bits of information within them eventually began to catch notice from the top. It wasn't long until the King himself, Nautilus Spiliz, showered Malice with gratitude for his detailed reports. It was one of the proudest moments in Malice' life.
Not long after that fateful day when Nautilus commended Malice' efforts in the war, his actions were rewarded with land and the title of Baron was bestowed upon Malice in a short ceremony in Mapo. Although initially Malice quailed at the thought of having to worry about the dozens upon dozens of faceless peasants he was now responsible for, he has since come to love his people. A process that gathered far more momentum once Malice discovered Mapan Ale. Indeed Malice is so proud of his people and the Ale they produce he actually gifted an entire swimming pool of the stuff to Sir Doc's Revenge after he was Crowned the latest King of the Ash Sea Islands not long ago. It should also be mentioned that Malice has also become fiercely proud of his Knights in more recent years, engaging with them more and more as he grew more relaxed in his position.
For a while Malice was full of joy and happiness over his appointment as Baron and indeed, the victory over the Tarans in the long running war. However, this happiness was eventually savaged by the news of Barbar's death and the betrayal of ASI by Abington, a former friend and ally. The twin effect of these events on Malice was dramatic, and for a while he became much more sullen and withdrawn. However this was eventually offset by the opportunity to claw back ASI's glory and honour in the world. The opportunity to become High Marshal. Malice accepted without a second thought. Since that day, Malice has presided over ASI expansion into RedSpan territory and more recently the campaign through Carelian lands which eventually culminated in the attempted Colonisation of Nida. Sadly though the colonisation was broken in a perilously close battle between ASI and Carelian forces outside the walls, and now Malice must return to Ser'quea. What new adventures would befall him once he got there?...
