House of le Craint comes from humble origins. The main branch of the family originates from Poryatu with Emyhr le Craint acting as the current head of the family after the death of his father and grandfather. As one of two siblings, competition arose between the two resulting in the separation and disinherited daughter, Mariana, who proceeded to take up a lifestyle as a privateer before settling down in Obia'Syela. The lesser branch, of which are cousins of Emyhr and Mariana, currently has a single person leading them. Mihel le Craint is the first cousin of Emyhr, he is the eldest of that generation however he does not have the power that Emyhr has.

Before the new generation rose to the forefront, Emyhr and Mariana's grandfather Malcome le Craint was the head of the family. Previously he had been the captain of a mercenary company, he found a lot of work within the southern region of Dwilight. After the conflict subsided he took this opportunity to settle down and marry. This led to the birth of Rawlin le Craint, Emyhr and Mariana's Father, who took over the mercenary company. The both of them lived to the riper old age of 60, both dying soon after their 60th birthday. He made a name for the family which led to Emyhr being knighted soon after he took over the mercenary company himself.

Le Craint Family Members

Emyhr le Craint:

Current head of the Le Craint family, he has remained close to his family home within Poryatu for most of his life. Having served dutifully within Luria Nova for the majority of his adult life. His early days were spent within the Earth Hall as a loyal knight to the kingdom of Earth Hall. During the troublesome period of land loss and constant attacks by undead, Emyhr found himself on the front lines for many years. To him, this was the ideal goal, the purpose he had been searching for. He was rewarded for his efforts when he was given the Earldom of Nid Tek.

After a few seasons, as the attacks on Earth Hall continued and grew, Nid Tek became a continual target. During his last season within Luria Nova, his home along with the remaining members of his family were attacked and killed during an assault on Nid Tek. This caused him to go in a frenzy, his mind broken with grief. It was at this point he decided to leave and explore the world he called home, in hopes he could find a purpose again. Along with Solomon Greybrook, they ventured north eventually joining an expedition to reclaim land in the untamed western lands of Dwilight towards Golden Farrow.

Mariana le Craint:

The sister of Emyhr le Craint. Mariana faced many hardships being compared to her elder brother, all of which she resented her family for. This came to an end during a duel between the two siblings over the succession of their father. The Duel was won by Emyhr and Mariana was sent out from the family, as punishment for her actions and for the duel with injured the both of them. Mariana most of her early life as a captain of a privateer ship, during which she traveled the world. This ended when she arrived at the shores of Obia'Syela, she felt connected to both the struggles and the spiritualism of the realm. She quickly worked to get knighted to begin serving the realm. She did this with great devotion, catching the eye of the Grand Inquisitor.

Mariana sought after a way to better serve the Goddess Obeah and the realm. She found such a purpose within the Order of the Inquisition. Under the guidance of the Grand Inquisitor she began her training. Her first mission came during the arrival of a unit of daimons, tasked with investigating she diligently undertook the task. Through this, Mariana was able to show her devotion and willingness that further caught the attention of the Grand Inquisitor. With her actions came further responsibility, given work to assist the Grand Inquisitor around the immediate aftermath she grew to love the work. However, those jobe were only the beginning.

During the war against Lux Nova and Shattered Vales, Mariana was captured and executed by the Judge of Lux Nova. She died at the age of 31.

Mihel le Craint (Deceased):

Mihel was different to the rest of the family. He had an aversion to violence and always tried to avoid it when possible. This came at the displeasure of his father. Instead, Mihel proved to be smarter than most members. Able to outwit them by an early age and managing the family finances by age 12, he proved to be a genius.

The culmination of his efforts came to pass when he arrive within Perleone. While at the beginning he had to assist the realm due to the war between Perleone and, Alara and Minas Nova. In order to prove himself, he followed his orders. However, when he was given the chance to change professions to one that did not require combat, he readily accepted. Becoming a Courtier proved to to be the best use of his skills and was quickly put to the test. Working within Nimraw and Zawr, regions that had been looted many times, Mihel tasked himself to return the regions to comfortable levels. Mihel's life as a courtier is one without great feats or accomplishments, but that suits the man quite nicely.

Isabella le Craint (Paused):

Isabella was a lesser known cousin of the Emyhr and Mariana. Far removed from the main family, she found her calling under the banner of Taselak. She came to the forefront during the fifth iteration of South Island after the attack of the Beppo.

Faren le Craint:

Little is known about the man named Faren, where he came from or who he is related to is a mystery. His life as an adventurer is a hard one, but he does not complain nor does he have anyone to complain to. What little is known, still remains a mystery. He arrived at the same time as Mariana, from the same ship. However, looks nothing like her nor has any ties to her. Who knows who this man is.

After the death of his mother, Mariana, he rose to take her place. Using his connections from his times as an adventurer and recommendations he received, he took his place as a noble of Obia'Syela.

Originally enough to provide his mother with a decent funeral. Afterwards come from necessity. A few months ago he disappeared, his whereabouts are unknown, however someone was said to have spotted a similar looking man heading west towards the lost lands.
