Irvington joined Pian en Luries after rebelling against the rule of the Grand Duchy of Fissoa. The Fissoan grip was diminished by the constant rogue attacks and the distance from Fissoa itself, which urged the locals to join the growing Lurian Empire.
Later, due to the Lurian Civil War, Irvington became part of the eponymous realm of Giask, which was defeated and substituted by Luria Nova.
