Highlight

Bounty Fame

Source
From one of Tom's hints in Lemon Fame.
Guess
Related with the amount of gold be put up within a single addition.
Deduction
It seems safe to assume that there is no Fame for the sheer size of the bounty, at least not solely depend on which. We know that the highest bounty ever is 1550 gold. We know from Tom's hints that this Bounty Fame has been collected by some. I have a character with a bounty of 1000 gold but there is no Fame for this. So unless a trigger was set for a bounty beyond 1000 gold, which seems very unlikely to me, continuing the search towards this direction will likely to yeild no result.
One of the popular guesses is that there are something between the Fame and the number of nobles adding to the bounty. I hold this to be unlikely as well, because contrary to what is stated on the bounty board that all additions are anonymous, this will require a few more hidden variables attached with the bounty to do the checks on this Fame. And if this Fame was not there as early as the bounty board function was implemented, this might cause some problems. More importantly, it is my own belief that all of the Fame points are checking on some parameters that can be viewed by the players as well, hence the above guess has basically violated this belief of mine.
The assumption that this Fame is related with the amount of gold in a single addition you make is also an extension of such belief. It sounds logical, is something the Fame trigger can check on without attaching more hidden variables, and is something the player can see.
I am able to tell that if this is really it, it is a value higher than 150 gold.

Skill(s) Fame

Source
From one of Tom's hints in Fame page and Lemon Fame.
Guess
Well, in fact we are almost sure that the threshold indicating "exceptional" is at 50%. What we don't know is that whether all eight skills currently inside the game stand for their own independent Fame point or share over one single point.
Deduction
Well, I have to admit this is a really hard one. For some reasons I seem to be able to relate all of my unaccounted mysterious points so far with an arbitrary character breaking through 50% in a new skill category, but that is not enough to prove that all these points - 3 to be exactly - are from the Skill(s) Fame.

Marshal Fame

Source
From one of Tom's hints in Fame page and Lemon Fame.
Guess
A battle huge enough, perhaps the using of marshal staff is required.
Deduction
Too little is known to make any useful deductions. It's placed here simply because it is more than plausible. Doesn't mean we know more about it.

Plausible

Trader Fame

Source
From one of Tom's hints in Fame page.
Guess
Ending starvation without profit.
Deduction
Reported by Gloria Santos. Sounds plausible, but perhaps a little bit too easy? Shouldn't be hard to varify if you have a trader character.
Observation
I just sold 100 bushels of food to Mimer city (pop: 13377) at a price of 1 gold. The city was starving. I received the following message: "The locals rejoice as they hear of the good news, some of them had been starving already." I immediately got a fame point.

Modified Guess
Ending starvation, without profit.
Observation

Religion Fame

Source
From one of Tom's hints in Fame page and Lemon Fame.
Guess
Loren suggested it has something to do with either the combined sizes of all temples, or the declaration of a state religion, or perhaps both. (There is no game mechanic to declare a religion as the state religion of a realm.)
Deduction
Sounds plausible, but seems not easy to be verified.
  • Perhaps invalidated by the discovery of the Prophet Fame?
It is thought that the fame for founding a religion is the same fame for founding a guild. So if you have already formed a guild, then forming a religion gets you nothing right away. Then there is a Prophet fame for the religion becoming a success in addition to that.

Infiltrator Career Fame

Source
From one of Tom's hints in Fame page and Lemon Fame.
Guess
Total bounties collected, amount or times.
Deduction
From "technically also in others, but I doubt anyone but an infi could really pull it off", I would guess it referred to the fact one can collect bounties by seriously wounding or killing someone else. And the comment was given before Duel was implemented.
  • Perhaps invalidated by the discovery of the Outlaw Fame?
