Queen Armitage III Weds!

On (Friday the 17th, 2006), Her Majesty, Queen Armitage III of Abington, married Lord Gauihu, Arch Priest of Abington, in a medium wedding ceremony held in Anchorinn. The ceremony was attended by about two dozen of Abington's nobles and marks the culmination of a courtship which lasted most of that season.

The wedding was planned during the time when Abington's existence was threatened, partly as a gesture to the world that Abington's government was confident of survival unto future generations.


Darka Declares War on Redspan

After Darka disagreed with a judicial matter in Redspan, Darka formally declared war on that realm with the expressed intent of gaining gold. Since Redspan is in a Federation with Carelia and Abington, it is likely that those realms will come to Redspan's defense. This combined with war events in North Atamara seems to herald a new age of renewed war, although it seems unlikely that this time Abington's annihilation will be anyone's goal.
