Born out of the ashes of the Monarchy of Melodia, the Republic was created after the first and only King of Melodia, Albert de Blanc was overthrown in a rebellion lead by Quintus Scarlett and [[Vellos_Family#Hireshmont_II|Hireshmont II Vellos].

The Republic is presently laying down its foundation and system of laws as it establishes itself in central-western Dwilight.
