History
Aquitaine was formed on August 13, 2007 when Duke Spiritmonger seceded the city of Riverholm from Abington. The regions of Lanston, Wynford, and Rustton followed the city in the secession. Abington immediately declared war on the new Monarchy.
The city of Riverholm, the last region belonging to the realm of Aquitaine, was recaptured by Abington on August 30, 2007, just over two weeks after the secession. Within hours of its recapture, Duke Magnus the Mighty ceded the city of Wayburg from Abington to form the realm of Caergoth.
