Is that true? Can large units repair fortifications? --John 17 September 2005 03:08 (CEST)
I dont think so, ive never seen it myself. I thought only region Lords could repair walls ScottSabin 9 March 2006 18:27 (CET)
I think its implying that the region lord needs a large unit (manpower) to be able to repair the fortifications. Fredrich 23:08, 29 July 2006 (CEST)

Level 6 walls
I heard these were built on a stonghold in FEI, one of Svunnetlands, very recently. Someone help me out here, is this only on testing, or is the info here wrong, or what? --The1exile 23:13, 29 July 2006 (CEST)
There have been cities and strongholds with level 6 walls, called Citadels. Icegate on Atamara had one until Talerium destroyed. And Citadels can't be rebuilt once they're gone, at least not on Atamara. Marouane 00:12, 30 July 2006 (CEST)
Thats what I mean... this one was actually *built* on FEI. not maintained. --The1exile 00:30, 30 July 2006 (CEST)
Hmm, I must have missed something. Apparently, Choxcal on Atamara now has a Citadel as well. Marouane 05:03, 30 July 2006 (CEST)
Mote / Motte
While the scout reports may say "mote," the correct spelling is actually "motte." A mote is a small particle, or an archaic way of saying "may" or "might." Motte comes from old French, and means mound. I'm not going to edit the main article, because the spelling has gone back and forth a couple times now and getting into a revert battle over a typo isn't the best use of anyone's time, however I do think it appropriate for one of the page's authors to correct it.
A motte & bailey fortification was an earthen mound (the motte) upon which a keep was built. An enclosed courtyard, (the bailey) in which supporting buildings (stables, garrison, kitchens, etc.) were located, surrounded the motte or was located at its base. This type of fortification was common during the 11th & 12th centuries, as they were easily constructed by invading armies.
Building New walls
It says that only Townslands, City and Strongholds etc can only build walls. But i am the Baron of Bym (Alphonce, Luz De Bia) The walls were destroyed by Monster attacks, there are currently non...I have the option to build Level 1 Walls...but it is a Mountainous region. ScottSabin 13:15, 12 October 2006 (CEST)
- Mountainous regions (I thought also badlands and woodlands but not sure) can build walls once they are destroyed, to a max of level 1. Townslands can go to Level 2 and above that, only cities and strongholds. Level 6 is for strongholds only.
- I was pretty sure it was only rural regions that could no longer build walls again once they were gone. could someone confirm this at all? --The1exile 17:10, 12 October 2006 (CEST)
- I can. Supra, on the EI cannot rebuild its walls. Level 1 walls used to stand, but once Yssaria broke them down, they could not be rebuilt, hence the reason that war is no longer in a dead lock.--Twinblade 00:06, 13 October 2006 (CEST)
- Ok, now can someone who is the count of a
ruralwoodlands region or baron of a badlands say if they can rebuild their walls? --The1exile 00:27, 13 October 2006 (CEST)

- A while back a fortification in Slantrax, a rural region of Eston, was destroyed due to lack of repair. It can't be rebuilt. -Marouane 01:12, 13 October 2006 (CEST)
It would definitely be nice to get all this ironed out. There is a lot of confusion on what types of fortifications can be built in different regions. --Indirik 15:45, 13 October 2006 (CEST)
Its definately possible to rebuild walls in Mountain regions. The walls of Elost(mountain region) in Atamara were destoryed during the continuing war between Norland and MI. Norland rebuilt the palisade. As for woodland regions no walls can be built on them. MI would if it was possible. Sypherwolf 06:54, 22 February 2008 (CET)
