| And now we know! Armonia has officially declared war on Eponllyn presumably for the reasons we mentioned in the last update. So let’s take a moment right now at the beginning to take into consideration how this war might work logistically. Anyone who remembers the last war and fought for either Caligus Perdan or Ibladesh will remember the geography of former Ibladesh very well. Its intricate nooks and crannies were great locations for many battles and part of the reason that Ibladesh stagnated in its military machine. The biggest factor in the geography of former Ibladesh is that great big lake in the centre which Perdan successfully used like a hook sending its elite armies round the back of Ibladesh to cause mayhem while Ibladesh’s main army was at the front.
| |||
| This of course has all changed now that Ibladesh is split into two different realms which will now soon be facing each other in direct combat. Consider Ibladesh as a realm itself. It had an entrance spanning the entire south of the continent. If you wanted to walk into Ibladesh with an army you wouldn’t have that much problem sneaking by somewhere. What we have with Eponllyn and Armonia is that both realms are evenly matched and have two tight entrances one in the north and one in the South. The South we’re expecting to see most of the major battles. This will be a very fast paced war that’s for sure with Itorunt the capitol of Armonia being separated from Eponllyn’s capitol Semall by one region: Ejarr Puutl the battleground.
| |||
| Armonia is slightly superior to Eponllyn economically with 10 regions and 25 nobles versus Eponllyn’s 9 regions and 19 nobles. While the geography is different the lake remains but this time will turn this into a different kind of war. Instead of the wide open entrance you have two bottlenecks. The city of Xavax and Al Arab as always are placed in pretty irrelevant places militaristically and probably won’t see much action at least in the early stages of this war. You can just walk by them. The bridge in and out of Ibladesh does however remain a crucial doorway between the two realms. As previously mentioned most of the fighting will happen in the south. We can expect a multitude of battles to happen inside Ejarr Puutl with nobles retreating back to their cities for lightning quick refits. This should be a very exciting war.

| <span style="font-size: 16px">Chancellor of Fontan joins Sirion</span>
| |||
| Katalynfae Dragul has taken the unusual move of terminating her chancellorship in the democracy of Fontan by moving through Commonyr and joining the realm of Sirion. Zadek Dragul a family relation has also converted to Sirion; something that only a year ago you would have imagined to be impossible. This leaves Fontan without a judge or a chancellor. Perhaps Fontan should consider being kinder to its chancellor's so that they stick in office for more than a few days. This paper remembers a similar circumstance when Rhidana Dubhaine stepped down from the minister of defence position after only a few days. However we’re only speculating and we can’t know for sure the real reasons why a chancellor of a realm would leave and join another realm in such a short time after winning office. From our point of view it does seem a bit bizarre especially after the mountains of paperwork Fontan seems to have to go through to decide on anything. What does this mean for Fontan? More Doom probably.
