Toupellon gains, Azros is now Cathay |
October 6, 2011 |
The once proud realm of Cathay is but a single duchy, as Azros and Leod are all that is left. The duchies of Anacan then Taop joined Toupellon, thus cutting the cross Cathay trip to a total of a day (in the winter at least). Rumors abound that Toupellon will not be involved in dethroning the McGahee. Thus the unenviable job of ending Cathay may have fallen to her once colony. |

Toupellon gains Duchy of Akanos |
October 2, 2011 |
Toupellon gained the Duchy of Akanos this day. This new realm is growing quickly at the expense of a leaders from families who have long caused strife on the isle. King Brandon Anatole has quickly struck alliances with Arcaea and Greater Aenilia, so the young realm is likely to do well. Spring is in but a few days, will Cathay and Ohnar West survive the thaw? |

Coronation of McGahee creates new realm of Toupellon |
October 1, 2011 |
A thoroughly unenthusiastic turnout allowed Optimus McGahee to become king while only receiving 13% of the valid votes cast. With a McGahee on the throne, Colasan and Ozrat both quickly seceded to form Toupellon. Is this the end of Cathay? Will the realms of the isle line up to quickly end any realm with a McGahee ruling it? If history is any guide, the answer is yes. |

Edairn, the beginning of the end? |
September 27, 2011 |
After Hatdhes fell to Kindara, Edairn quickly followed suit. The very next day Edairn revolted and joined Cathay. High Lady Tissaphernes made a public request for King Brian to return the region, and Cathay stalled. Is this the beginning of the end for the honeymoon between Founder and Colony? |

Hatdhes Burns while Thain finds faith. |

Hatdhes Burns while Thain finds faith.
The capital of C'thonia, the city of Hatdhes, fell after a nineteen day siege to her neighbor and one time ally, Kindara. King Thain suddenly found religion towards the end, and thus the siege was quite devastating to the peasants when no relief arrived for the doomed kingdom. Once the capital relented, the rest of C'thonia wasted little time. Edairn joining Kindara the same day, followed by Apelen and Arrmol the next. Interestingly none chose to join Cathay. This is how C'thonia came to her fate, and King Thain's rule met its end.
With C'thonia dead, the Allies Cathay and Kindara have none who stand between them. |
