History tells us that he was the son of Lawrence Motosuwa, who owned a local shop in the city of Fengen "Located on the continent of Beluaterra".

At a young age, Kusanagi could be found traversing the streets delivering packages from house to house. As he grew older it must be suspected that his life as local delivery boy became mundane or that he had a falling out with his father, becuase later in life his name would be found half way around the world, on a War torn continent of The South-East Island in a realm called Taselak.

It would seem that his time there was short "A few years or so". What records we have found state that he participated in a majority of battles against a realm known as Ikalak. No other facts could be found of the time he spent there, or the people he meet there.

After years of fighting in a distant land, Kusanagi returned home and rejoined his fathers business "Which grew in his absence and became a small trading company". Upon his return Kusanagi was put in charge of the Ketampkin sector where he would deliver food to such realms as Plergoth and Mesh, then in later years the southern realms of Irombrozia and Riombara. As years many successful years passes, his fathers health began to deteriorate and it was decided that Kusanagi would succeed the business from his father. His first act as head of his trading company was to secure full trading rights in the city of Fengen which he did with the help of his close friend Igor Zepplins the duke of Fengen. This in turn boosted his family standing in Enweil and within a years time he would become the realms largest trading company and recived support from Lord Handkor Zotral Supreme chancellor of Enweil.

Records show that during Beluaterra/Third Age the Motosuwa Trading company was at its prime and lasted until the Beluaterra/Fourth Age when Kusanagi was forced to leave Beluaterra and the company what was left of the company was handed down to his daughter.

Records show that Kusanagi would later leave Enweil and became the banker of Caras Galadhon thought his position was short lived due to the Kingdom of Alluran invasion of Caras Galadhon. It was also documented that he held every governing position and title Duke of Eylmon.

Documents so that Kusanagi entered into a political marriage with and steamed noble family from Bara'Khur and his wife bore him a daughter, thought the names of these women are currently missing form our records.

Other positions held by Kusanagi:

After joining Avalon- Baron of Tey Gren and General of Avalon "towards the end of the realms existence."

After leaving Fronen and joining Bara'Khur- General, Judge, and Banker. "towards the end of the realms existence."

In an ironic fate, Kusanagi was deported by the Magistrato dell'Ordine of Fronen, Malaking Vecchio Ratto, who happened to also be the Senator of Tey Gren. It is rumored that Malaking deported Kusanagi because he would not allow Malaking to marry his daughter and its said that while Kusanagi was in Vur Hagin speaking with the Queen of Fronen about peace between Bara'Khur and Fronen, he was attacked by mercenaries hired by Malaking who striped him of his position and locked him in a cargo ship heading for Dwilight.
