With the beginning of the new year of Dwilight, it is perhaps a good time to reflect on the events of the past year. There has been much progress, and much loss. Several realms formed, and a few lost. A failed rebellion in the young realm of Ordenstaat. Realms Formed Myern in the city of Shinnen Thulsoma in the stronghold of Storms Keep Averoth in the stronghold of Valkyrja Niselur in the city of Darfix Realms Lost Virovene Everguard One of the greatest events and triumphs of the year was the successful colonization of the grand city of Darfix by an expedition from Astrum, lead by King Boreal Arrakis, and supported by the Faith of Sanguis Astroism. The failure of so many colony expeditions to this legendary city, at least five, lead many to believe that it would be impossible to create a new realm in the city without first conquering all the surrounding lands. Perhaps the greatest loss, however, has been the death of Lord Deverka Cryfdwr, Grandmaster of Morek. The heroic Grandmaster fell in battle in the town of Nifel, defending against a monster incursion. The founder of Morek was also instrumental in founding the faith of Sanguis Astroism. His presence in Morek and his guidance in the faith will be greatly missed.
