The end for Ash Sea Islands

April 27th

Word has reached Minas Ithil that the Ash Sea Islands faces an ultimatum that the duchy of Ser'quea join Carelia. Carelian forces are reportedly inside the city after defeating the defenders. The main army of ASI fought against Caergoth and Suville in Lerss. Caergoth had recently declared war on ASI with the intention of capturing the northern island still held by ASI. The attack by Carelia came days before a war declaration was signed and presumably was a surprise attack. Ash Sea Islands is one of the oldest realms in all of Atamara. The realm has been losing ground for some time with regions taken by Tara, Carelia and Caergoth. Ash Sea Islands has had an alliance with Minas Ithil and Falasan called the Eastern Alliance. Falasan has also lost many regions to Tara and Cagilan Empire.

Norland

April 17th

Eston has completed its capture of the southern half of Norland, leaving Norland with Brackhead and a few rural regions surrounding it. The Duke of Barad Riel, pledged allegiance to Eston after the city was overrun by Eston forces. Scattered reports talk of food being scarce in Brackhead with possible famine in the city. Norland has had difficulty restoring control of Ashmoor and Shiverwood, with Ashmoor recently rebelling once again and Shiverwood remains on the brink of rebellion. The realm has gone through several new Konungrs in the past month, with the most recent one elected with 30% of the vote.
