Fontan Given a Bloody Nose!

Oligarch City - A few days past, Oligarchian and Ubentian allied forces invaded Fontan in a stunningly successful move. Within hours, 80% of Fontan's standing army had been obliterated, and chaos was rampant within Fontan. In the campaign Dulbin was quickly retaken by its rightful owners, Oligarch, after just a few skirmishes. Then a large-scale attack was launched on Braga, and succeeded. With much appreciated Ubentian aid, Braga was pillaged to near worthlessness. Then, a huge Fontanese assault was repulsed at great loss of life. Interestingly enough, Paris, one of the newer Oligarchians, ordered a retreat from Braga prior to the battle, even though he had no grounds or authorization to do so. All the same, it was a great day for Oligarch as DUlbin was reclaimed, operations were begun to reclaim Evora, and FOntan's army was smashed. The next day, Fontanese forces managed to drive us out of Braga, because many of the forces in Greatbridge failed to move into Braga on time. But, even with that minor setback, Evora was taken by Oligarchian forces, and a small Fontanese raiding force was successfully repulsed with minimal loss of life.- Hireshmont

Revert to Republic!		Kalmar Islands?		Heartland Realms
Just recently, Oligarch has become a Republic again! After the evil sorcerors Ken/Ben forced Oligarch into a tyranny, we were unable to revert to our more preffered republican ideals. But now, now we have returned to rule by the rightful aristocracy! Currently, our Prime Minister is Sakima, and he is proving himself a worthy PM, although it is strange to see someone other than Lysander functioning in the executive role. Many of our newer Oligarchians, ex-Avamarians, have complained about this republic, wanting a republic of equality, of the people's voice and of equality. Most of the more experienced and older Oligarchians scoff at this, it seems. This humble reporter does as well. - Hireshmont		It has been a while since the volcano to the northwest settled down, but only recently has a group of brave nobles been successful in colonizing the new lands. The realm that emerged was borne through the efforts of the unlikely pairing of Perdan and Old Rancagua. Khalmar Islands is the name that the new realm chose for its self and the people chose Ebion II as their Ruler. (edit: Ebion II has since stepped down and Prometheus is the newly elected Ruler) While the rest of the island continues it's wars, the Kalmarian Islanders seem to view themselves as seperate and unwarlike. Of course, time will tell whether or not they will chose a side in the Great Conflict. - Paul		Also still forthcoming!
