How are they different?

How are wizard-created scrolls different from the ones that already exist? My character in Norland has an Astonishing Scroll, but that just gives a prestige bonus like other unique items. -Andrasta 16:30, 31 October 2007 (CET)

Take a look at the bug report, where I got pretty much all this information from. #3817. It appears that these scrolls are the type of magic scroll that casts spells, like the kind you would have in a game of Dungeons and Dragons. --Indirik 16:41, 31 October 2007 (CET)
Do any of these work yet? Have a chance to make one, but they are costly in materials, and don't know if it is worth it if it doesn't do anything. Do chars still like to buy them? --Tomarsen 22:42, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
It says right on the page: A few scrolls, however, are working. I understand that somewhat less than half work. I do not know which ones, other than the banishment that destroys some daimons does work. -- Indirik 03:03, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
Yep, I know what it says, but I've never heard of any examples of them being used. The second question was the one that is more important to me - does anyone collect these, generally speaking?

Three more scrolls confirmed to be implemented

As of March 23rd, 2011, 3 more scrolls are now confirmed to work according to the font page news of BM: "the implementation of three previously unimplemented scroll types, Magic Steeds, Magic Weapons, and Magic Armour." -- Corwyn 05:30, 24 March 2011 (CET)
